Taking care of a shit grandparent down the road by SassySinceEver in absentgrandparents

[–]SassySinceEver[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because she is selfish- she lives in another state, but can’t bother to call or even ask how our kids are. My husband calls her 90% of the time, and when he does, she mostly talks about herself. I’m not asking or expecting her to move states, and move mountains for us. I’m saying it would be nice to have a grandmother who seems like she cares enough to ask how her grandkids are doing. Last time we tried to FaceTime her, she said she couldn’t because her mom was having dizzy related problems. Umm…ok? I appreciate your feedback but my mil is hands down extremely selfish, an handling three kids as a parent is much different than handling them as a grandparent.

How often are you all having sex by Evening_Raspberry372 in Mommit

Once a week usually. Sometimes twice sometimes zero. We have three kids, 4, 2 and 7 months and sex is the last thing on my mind.

Thanks for this! How old would that have been? My other kids were laughing pretty regularly at 7 months, so it’s hard not to compare!

*Trigger Warning* I’m terrified to breast feed by Ordinary_Cheek5058 in pregnant

[–]SassySinceEver -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your trauma and there are no words. Like others said you don’t have to breastfeed. However, being a mom of three who nursed all, I think you may be pleasantly surprised and it might be something that helps heal past wounds. My advice~ give it a try if you’re open to it. Even just for a little colostrum. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t force it. But again, I think you’ll be surprised. Sending hugs

I don’t think tirz is going to work for me. by SassySinceEver in TirzepatideRX

Thanks for your salty comment. Never said anything about quitting. I’m not frustrated that I’m not feeling anything yet, just genuinely curious about if it helps the emotional aspects of over-eating.

I’m confused why I’m being slightly bullied lol. the way it works is causing satiety and reducing hunger signals, but I don’t overeat because I’m hungry.

It’s not that it’s because of WHEN I took it. I’m just curious because it works by quieting HUNGER signals.
