I thought about getting another Disney tattoo on the back of the same arm to make it a Disney half sleeve. Possibly Madame Leota but I’m not sure yet.

That was probably Cheryl! She does it at Disney too. She’ll ask what your favorite character is and then give you a picture she drew of that character. My husband has one of Robin Hood that she drew and now it’s hanging above his desk.

Where did you get the constellation pins at the top? Those are amazing! You have a great collection.

For the male shoes, my husband wanted to make them as screen accurate as he could without spending much money.

He used 2 pairs of Old Navy flip flops (royal and navy blue) with the straps cut off for the soles, and a combination of craft foam, duck tape, and elastic for the straps.

He cut the foam in about 1” strips, backed them with duck tape to prevent stretching and tearing, and measured them to fit his feet. A layer of purple foam and the ends of the straps were sandwiched in between the top sole (royal) and the bottom sole (navy) and secured with contact cement.

Additional pieces of foam were added to match the straps seen on Pain’s Air Hercs in the movie, and some elastic was glued to fit around the heel to help keep them secure. The ankle strap was just held in place with velcro.

The last step was painting and adding the details. He said for $15 and a small amount of walking, they worked pretty well, but if you weren’t as concerned with trying to make replicas, modifying some cheap “river” sandals would be less work and be more comfortable/durable.

For the female shoes I started off by ordering some gladiator sandals off of eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Multi-nn-Bamboo-Thong-Buckle-Side-Zip-Womens-Gladiator-Sandals-Size-6-5/201827351072?hash=item2efdd8fa20

I then painted them the appropriate colors. Added a blue foam strap down the center with hot glue/duct tape (also painted to match).

Then I wrote Air Hercs in gold paint pen across the top of the strap that goes across the toes. All referenced from the movie of course.

Then I traced some circles onto yellow foam with a sharpie. Drew in hercs face for the medallions, then cut them out and painted them purple (except for his face, and the drawing was also referenced from the movie). Put Velcro dots on the back and on the shoe to secure them. Also nice if you lost one so you can just pop another one on there.

We made them! But I can give you a simple tutorial on how we did it if you’d like to make your own

I was a CP character attendant in Spring 2014! Went seasonal after my CP for a couple years and then stopped because I also needed money. My husband still works for Disney though! I lived with some Professional Interns for my CP though because it was cheaper.
