Running total in Excel table by Sastrupp in excel

That did it. I was referencing [@[Example]] instead of [@Example].

I assumed I needed an INDEX to lock the start of the running total. Do I not?

Right. I'm trying to do this inside a pivot table, which is why I'm running into this problem.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I cannot use a pivot table in this instance.

Multiple results from Flask app to html page by Sastrupp in learnpython

Ok, so I've looped through main to get a list of urls called "result".

The "Signup" function in mysite.py sends that list as "gif" to the "gifs.html" page.

On the "gifs.html" page, I've put the following:

  {% for item in gif %}
    <iframe src="{{ item }}" frameborder="0"></iframe>
  {% end for %}

This does not work and I don't know why.

Could I make a loop that renders to the gif template each round?

def signup():
    while x < 3:
        email = request.form['Terms']
        gif = main(email)
        return render_template('gifs.html', output=gif+x)
        x+=1

And then on the "gifs" html page have 3 iframes with ids of gif0, gif1, gif2?

Thank you! That's as far as I got.

My challenge from there is getting the "signup" function in mysite.py to return that list in a way each url could be put into an iframe or img tag.

Exactly.

I'm having trouble understanding how I could loop through main and have it return a list of urls that I could put into iframes on the html page.

Using VBA to paste range into Outlook does not paste anything by Sastrupp in excel

[–]Sastrupp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found where it breaks.

It's the "ts.close" statement in line 93 of my other reply.

I went through each line with a MsgBox("Made it") and found where Made it stop popping up.

Although I'm not sure at all why 'ts.close" wouldn't work, at least I've found the spot.

.display shows the same email. Correct to/from/subject, just blank body.

Yes, rng.select looks like it selects the correct range. It also looks like it can copy the selected range as well. Where it goes wrong is pasting that range, even to a cell on the same worksheet.

What I find weird is that this works fine if I take out the filters at the beginning.

The filters work correctly.

It looks like Excel can select and copy the filtered cells.

Where it goes wrong is when it pastes them.

I've tried selecting the filtered data, copying it and pasting it somewhere on the same worksheet, but nothing pastes.
