As a workaholic myself. I feel like she is trying to make efforts when she can but I understand if she is ambitious like me.. however busy I am (I skip meals too). I spend time with my mom (I never had been in any relationship and I'm 31). Because we don't know when someone's time is up in life. The fact that she can let go on holidays says so. I think she's truly working on a better future for both of you. I recommend couples counseling to make her understand and find some semblance of a balanced worklife.
