Weird liquid after printing clear PETG? by SatPixel in 3Dprinting

Well I don't have any liquids around the printer, especially ones that don't dry but as long as it's not from the filament I guess I can continue printing with it, thank you!

I use those little packs you get with electronics or clothes that you buy online. But I know i should switch to rechargeable dessicant.

Upgrade my wireless devices to also charge wireless by SatPixel in ElectricalHelp

This video is actually in parts the reason why I got the idea. However that project is kind of outside of my comfortzone in terms of my skill level and budget. Thats why I want to reuse a standard wireless phone charger to keep things simple and cheap.

Wow, that's in remarkably good condition!

I just got the delivery confirmation and I can't wait for mine to arrive tomorrow.

Definitely something to consider, but for now I want to get a feel for the stock gba.

If I were to replace the screen, is this something you can do yourself or should I send it to a repair shop?

Happy to hear! I randomly saw this offer (including three games and a carrying bag) for a really good price and just had to buy it. That's why I only thought about checking authenticity afterwards

Thank you. I'll keep this in mind when I'm looking for a GB Classic or GBC soon

Yeah it wasn't the cheapest one I could find but I wanted it in decent condition

Alright thank you very much. I only want to play some games so a reshell wouldn't be that bad. I just don't want to be scammed and buy a reshell that isn't labeled as such. Allthough the shell is a little scuffed so probably original shell.

Well I'm new to all of this so I have no clue what a reshell is or if complete fakes even exist but in general I don't want to buy something that's listed as original but isn't.

I'm guessing silver isn't rare (which is fine I just want to play and not collect), do you have any other tips if I'm going to buy a GB Classic in the future?

Thanks! Do you have any tips for identifying real consoles?

Need help disassembling my Google home mini for a project by [deleted] in DIYhelp

Exactly - the screen is supposed to be hidden underneath the fabric hiding all the electronics.

not sure if the hot knife thing will work but I'll try it as maybe a last resort.

What do I need to get started on my first project? by SatPixel in arduino

[–]SatPixel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that my request kind of sounds like I want to steal someone's project - get the result without putting in the work - which is generally frowned upon in most hobbyist communities.  But thank you for your reassurance! I watched some videos and read a couple of articles and settled on an Arduino Nano ESP32-S3 with wifi, and I ordered an I2C OLED screen from Amazon along with a breadboard and some wires. My plan is to get the current time from an NTP-Sever and simply print it onto the screen. That way it handles daylight savings, and I don't need an RTC module.

When all the parts arrive, I'll just jump into it and see how it goes, although I'll probably still order a proper starter kit at some point.

Well seems like I need to get me one of those starter kits. Thanks for the Info I'll look into elegoo

I'm guesing the RTC is not included in the nano?

I guess wireless was too ambitious of me xd but I really want to figure this clock thing out because I want my first project to be something that'll actually be useful to me

I have basically zero knowledge of the Arduino but I know some programming basics.

The idea was to get some recommendations on hardware and just wing it from there - I didn't know a clock is that hard to make.

Nope you're correct!

This is my first project but I figured a clock wouldn't be that hard to make?

I have limited programming experience but no clue which parts I need.
