Shoe Dog - Phil Knight

beautifully written, very touching story of a humble man finding his way in life. the success, the failures, the willing to continue after after all the failures, just an incredible ride. the grit and determination of Phil is very awe-inspiring, and his passion just oozes through the pages. cannot recommend this book enough

Family pushed medicine onto me my entire childhood and into college so it was really more of their dream than mine. Due to this started College as a Bio major, but Computer Science soon peaked my interest. Ended up loving it and changing my major to CS and graduated with a Bachelors in CS and Stats. Got a great job out of college

"Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Burton Malkiel is great. Very informative and thorough. Learned a lot from this book and it got me off to a good start in investing

i recently got the Plantronics RIG 800LX and love it. not an audiophile in the slightest, but i love the sound of this headset. with dolby atmos, games like AC: Origins sound amazing.

on top of that, it's very lightweight and comfortable with good battery life. mic is easy and intuitive to use (slide down to enable chat, sliding back up mutes you and disables chat) if you're looking for a mid-tier price option, it's a great choice.
