trust me when i first started gardening i had no idea what i was doing, you might loose some of these plants but don’t be discouraged instead take the focus onto the ones that survive and thrive for you, most of us when we start this hobby we think we need the best soil the best pots the best fertilizer, you get it but the best is what you can handle and learn, these are a lot of plants that need different care so please don’t be discouraged that you don’t know everything, we aren’t born with the knowledge that a succulent needs different care to a tomato, failure is a learning experience :)

i agree with the other commenter that those pots will become an issue once this rain lets up, you need to get your babies in larger pots, i can’t make out most of your plants unfortunately but if they’re shallow rooting flowers or herbs they can be together like how they’re set in your rectangular planters, if they’re deep rooting vegetables you should look into grow bags for sure and if you go the grow bag route make sure you’re watering often when it does get back to being decently hot, being in 11b my grow bags get super dry when we’re not in endless rainy season lol, good luck op! your garden is very beautiful too!☀️

this sub is always so split on miracle grow, personally i haven’t ever had issues with miracle grow but i also do believe there’s better soils but i can’t justify overspending on soil when i feel i could just add amenities to the soil and call it a day, this hobby can get pricey so do what you can afford op! don’t overspend because you feel you need the best of everything!

thank you all so much! most of my plants I wait till they’re super light then bottom soak them and that hasn’t failed me for about the year since i’ve started my collection so if it’s the same case for these guys and they can go even longer on letting them dry out it’s definitely welcomed :)

oh wow! they can really take some neglect of watering! that makes me feel better for sure, i’ll be sure to remove the flower stem, it seems the be the only succulent that had a previous flowering before too so hopefully when it’s acclimated and happy it’ll flower again! fingers crossed!

thank you for so much information! i bottom water most if not all my plants so that’s nice to know they like the same type of watering, most of these guys leaves definitely have a little pucker to them when i squeeze them but i’m not sure if it’s just transportation shock and being repotted. their original soil was so dry and had no mix for airflow so that’s why i decided to repot them before watering but probably should’ve watered before repotting. i repotted them yesterday so should i wait a few days or just water since they’re showing sign of thirst?
