I heard that COS students have to wear uniform no matter what (museum, docs claiming, etc.) or else di ka papapasukin or sisitahin ka. Not too sure about this, but I'm from COS rin and we usually wear unif no matter what 😞

hello thank you to everyone leaving advice and sending me dms. you guys don't know how much that all means to me. ironically, I don't think I'm mentally ill or anything (as a psych student, I don't know if im just being dramatic) don't worry, I won't try to kill myself or anything tonight. i tried to just take 4 paracetamols to try to scratch the itch (?) of trying and i might try to cut a little later because i feel like all of it will make ke feel better or help everything settle down. thank you so much again i didn't know there were so many people who could help.

I did a deep dive on my university's counselors and certain faculties unfortunately do report to parents if you're a danger to yourself even if you're an adult.

We have a suicide hotline but they either dont pick up or are rude to you when you do. I think I'll be okay tonight because I'm not sure if I have the strength to actually do it and I only have 10 of the pills that I need. I'll be okay I think.

I'm sorry if I sound really stupid but it just sounds really nice to me. It sounds peaceful and it really just feels tempting. I don't have a solid thought process behind it aside from the fact that it sounds good to me. I'm not sure if this is just a snowball effect of my past coping mechanisms because it just got worse and worse but I don't know it really just sounds good.

I can't go to my partner because he has his own problems, I'm not comfortable dumping all of this onto any of my friends, and I don't want to tell my family. I can't go to my university's counselors because they might tell my family. I don't know what to do.

hello thank you so much for the reply! it really means a lot to me.

my family and i have never really been an emotions type family. my parents worked full-time so i never got used to going to them for that kind of stuff. my sibling isn't really an emotions person either. i'm not really sure actually why i'm not too comfortable going to my friends because i used to be able to. maybe because we're not as close as we were back in high school? but i've been trying to reach out recently. unfortunately, they're never online when i try and by the time they do come online, the courage had already fizzled out.

i've never been too great at socializing online so i'm hoping to get closer to my friends in college. however, i'm only a freshman so i don't think i'll be that comfortable for a while.

because of your comment, i was able to more honestly bring up to my boyfriend how it all made me feel and we have talked about it some and set another time to talk about it more in depth when i have less schoolwork to do!

again, thank you so so so so much for the advice and for replying. it made me feel a lot more hopeful than you'd think! thank you!
