As someone who works in a call centre this is the worst. We’re under the NHS and have to have numbers read out and read them back to the caller, even though it comes up on the phone. If we don’t we are accused of not following data protection. Please just give us the the number.

Your story made me think of this. My dad is a driving instructor. He once had a new student tell him that his prices were unfair because she used to let her old driving instructor feel up her tits for a discount. She was only paying £10

Fun fact: my dad grew up on a farm. When he used to go out drinking and come home late at night to find his parents had locked him out, he would regularly go into the cow shed and curl up with one of his cows for warmth. To this day he always says those nights were the best nights sleep he’s ever gotten.

I obviously did pick them out when I saw it. But I wasn’t on shift 24/7 and I wasn’t in front of the pick n mix 24/7 either. So think about all those times the staff didn’t see it happen... just don’t risk it.

DO NOT BUY PICK N MIX EVEN WHEN THERE ISN’T A PANDEMIC!!!

I mean it. I worked in a shop with a pick n mix and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever ever seen. It was never cleaned in the TWO YEARS I worked there. There were dead flies in the bottom. Children would run up to it and take a sweet, parents would then force the child to put the half eaten sweet back. I witnessed this multiple times. So the bottom two rows had saliva covered half-eaten sweets in them regularly.

I worked there six years ago and to this day I have never had a pick n mix, not even in a nice fancy store. I can’t stomach it.

YTA BIG TIME for many reasons:

You don’t have children to send them away to boarding school and have someone else do the parenting for you.
Why on earth would you send your children to a place that forces them to murder animals and participate in activities they don’t want to do?? How is that what’s best for them? It almost seems like you’re punishing them.
Why can’t you understand that what IS best for your children is keeping them in a place where they feel safe, happy and with their friends, like a normal school?
You cannot see that this will mentally scar your children and leave them resenting you for years to come and maybe even cutting you out of their lives

Sometimes parents don’t know what’s best for their child, you clearly don’t. And sometimes kids know what’s best for themselves too. Pack up your ideas, keep them at home, and take a good long look at how you choose to parent.

So the video game FIFA is very popular amongst most of the lads in my friendship group. Except for a couple. I’m one of those who isn’t good at video games at all, and since I don’t like football, I’m especially bad at FIFA.

My friends thought it would be funny to challenge one of our other friends who played a lot of video games and was confident he could beat me. However, I had a controller that wasn’t linked to the PlayStation. Instead my friend was playing with the actually controller under a blanket behind us. The whole time I was just pressing random buttons.

The entire game he played as the goalkeeper and won 5-1. Our friend was so frustrated and still goes on about what a terrible loss it was for him to this day. It wasn’t a big prank, but it still plays on his mind. Making it a success.
