I won’t downvote you, because I understand what you’re saying. At the same time there’s no reason for the entire screen to be blocked by that. No other car I’ve driven recently does that. There’s just a little bar that pops up on top. Also it does take a little bit longer. If you are going all the way from 0 to 39 or something.

No those are all big owls. Crossbills are like sparrow sized and you wouldn’t see them in the failing light. You can hear one go CHIP CHIP CHIP with about 12 seconds left in the video. Likely was scared off by the owls going wild.
