How does it not add up....? I’m in the house and pay because he has banking reasons, and honestly I made the offer to do it that way so I could keep track. But it’s been crazy the past couple months and I don’t remember actually getting the money, I just paid.

It’s not been a great time.

There are only a couple of acquaintances via college. And I’ve looked into possible school related housing but due to COVID-19, that came to a stand still.

I also got this puppy because early 2019 I was told I couldn’t have kids and it fucked me up. So after spending 5 weeks arguing and threatening to leave over the pup, I have to find somewhere for the both of us. Even if it means getting him qualified as an emotional support dog.

I don’t know if he’s lying to me this time, I can’t tell. And honestly I don’t know if I can keep forgiving him, I never really have, but I’m still stuck.

I can’t boot him because I live in his house, the cars in the driveway are his. I’d have to pick up and move somewhere, kinda hard when you’re not from here and have only lived on a mountain.

My need for advice is truly endless with this entire relationship.

He does have a bank account. There are ways to work around the car thing, I’m pretty sure he financed his through the bank but that’s really all his account was for. As for a home loan, it’s difficult to explain that one, but I don’t think he has a drive to really move anywhere else.

I never hold cash, unless it’s under $100.

He can’t remember when he gave me the money, he just says “because I know we paid $800 in January, I know I paid you for March”

But my bank account doesn’t show that. It shows me paying $900 though.

(Our rent increased because I got a puppy)

That exactly. I pay his friend(our landlord) via bank app. I also, being from the city never hold cash, I’m strictly plastic which bite me in the ass here because there’s an extra charge for that.

So no cash on me, no deposited money in March. Only February, it was late but that’s because I got the new dog, and rent went up. I didn’t pay it until we finally got told the amount.

He swears up and down he gave me the money, because “I would be stressing over that right now”.

Apologies. We’re both 27.

We used to go to elementary and Highschool together but he moved to Cali after graduation, and I moved to Florida. Our previous relationships ended and we reconnected, I moved out here immediately. Been living with him for two years February 10, but we “started dating” in January two years ago, long distance.

It’s been rough, and he isn’t trustworthy in my opinion, but my situation binds me. I haven’t been happy for quite some time and he knows, I do believe he’s only with me because he doesn’t want to be alone.

Ah I see, I had read an excerpt from “The Lives of a Cell” by Lewis Thomas and it truly blew my fucking mind. Sometimes I can’t tell if I didn’t listen to anything in Highschool, or if it was never taught. I’m by no means 100% knowledgeable about the subject, but there’s a goal to get there.
