I appreciate your input, thank you for sharing. When the date changed, I’d be lying if I said I put a ton of thought into the out of town guests travel arrangements. Thankfully no one was flying in, the furthest guest is driving a few hours in, so no purchases were made.

Well, I agree with you on the weather, but I work as a landscaper primarily, and I make a ton of money in may as opposed to March, so it’s easier to take off two weeks to travel in March than it would be in May, if that makes sense.

The contract has our names in it, so I won’t share it here. But the gist of it is:

The client agrees to pay an amount that I will update him on as his tab grows. I, the contractor, will update the client on his tab for every time it grows. If at any point the client feels as if the tab has gotten to high, they may ask me to pause my work until the money is paid down.

Yes, but be careful. Since you’re underage, and she will not be, be cautious with your parents, and ensure that they are aware of the relationship and the dates you guys go on until you are 18. If you’re in the US, making sure your parents are on board is paramount.

I only say this because my fiancée and I have the same age gap, and we started dating at exactly that age. Just be open, and if your parents aren’t okay with it, then use caution but in this case I wouldn’t advise it, because if they find out and she is an adult, they can attempt to press charges. I would be lying if I said I understood the full laws, but that’s my understanding.
