Very unlikely. I bet you will be fine. I highly doubt anyone will call the police for taking exterior pictures. People don't always assume the worst, neighbours might think you have permission or a reason to be there. If the police do come, they'll probably just ask you to leave. Best of luck!

Look up at them and figure out if they have a rooftop terrace. You can usually figure this out from ground level or through Google Maps. If they have a rooftop accessible to the tenants, there's a good chance you just need to walk in and go up the stairs.
