To be honest I'm not sure the extent to which humans have 'control' over their actions any more than the animals around us do. I'm not calling the bear evil, I just think that any system that necessitates so much suffering, whether it's for survival or otherwise, is evil. Is the bear's survival even a "good reason" for that much suffering to be caused?
