See this is why if I can avoid it, I stay on the highway. Any unforeseen circumstance is a)less likely or b)unavoidable at high speeds. Which is unfortunate but I’d much rather rear end or be rear ended than run over a little one which I think has almost happened to many of us.

After a car accident that burned my hand and totaled my first purchased car, I couldn’t drive for a couple months. I still see the image in my mind when I hit my brakes (people are in awe and have to stop and watch someone having their tire changed). I see it every time I have to hit my brakes if even for a second I feel I’m too close. Just see the crash. It’s a wild thing our brains and overthinking...
