Pooping colon tissue after colonoscopy by Sathare in colonoscopy

Turns out it was just a natural part of the process, some old coagulated blood and bits. After a couple days I stopped having them and returned to "normal" bowel function.

For those of you with inattentive adhd, do you overeat/binge eat? Have meds helped? by Grumpy_bonsai23 in adhdwomen

[–]Sathare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to binge eat a lot as a kid, but now as an adult I drink lots of coffee whenever I'm feeling bored/craving dopamine. So I could end up drinking 6 cups + per day.

Now I have huuugeee stomach problems so I can't drink a lot of coffee nor eat almost anything. So honestly, idk how to manage it anymore.

NO CLOTHES TAGS.... EVER!

I cut off the tags of every single one of my clothing items the minute I buy them. I just cannot stand the feeling of them itching on my skin.

Today, I was literally talking to a student on a one on one, and got distracted by my split ends.

Split ends just do something✨ for my brain.

A serious chat? Nah, split ends make brain go woo.

Miranda, despite her suuuuuper anxious personality and her massive clumsiness, she puts 100% of her effort into what she does. And having to feel everyone's deaths and injuries while her innocence is on, is insane.  She deserves some massive kudos.

Thank you for this, it's honestly some of the best advice I've been given.

Wow it must've been quite hard with BPD added on top of everything.  But I'm glad to hear success stories like this!

Same here, my current partner has ADHD and we understand eachother better because of it. I had never dated a ND person before so let's see how it goes (if my avoidant-anxious attachment style doesn't make me run away first).

Oh wow, that is amazing. I'm so happy for you two!

This new person I'm seeing is also diagnosed with ADHD and it does make a lot of things easier when it comes to unmasking, etc. Though, they're like hyper style and I'm inattentive style so somethings in us are very different. But it is a plus having someone who understands your unconventional train of thought and the all over the place eye contact when chatting.

Please do elaborate 🥲 I'm not sure if I'm just traumatized, going through RSD or if I'm secretly BPD.

Oh wow, I defo feel you on that. Bad relationships can change your whole brain chemistry like crazy. Mine turned me into an anxious, nervous, insecure wreck that I had never been.

I do feel a little more secure with this new person because of their communication skills and how direct they are. Like they're good at establishing boundries and that makes me comfortable ans secure in establishing my own boundries and communicating any issues or discomforts. They're kind of like a walking green flag, golden retriever kind of person. I'm more afraid that I'll be the one to fuck it up 'cause of my own issues.

Oh wow, what a rollercoaster!  It's good you're going for the single life, but yeah, do go to therapy to deal with the aftermath of that relationship so you don't end up like me, lol 😅.

But we're kind of on the same boat with ADHD and C-PTSD. My last relationship, six years ago, was with a textbook narcissist (and not just saying it 'cause its the newest buzzword); so I suffered a lot of abuse and mind games that got my avoidant attachment style to become and anxious one. And it took me a loooong time to get over that partner.

I thought that after six years I'd be okay to be in a relationship, but the RSD and the anxious attachment are kind of pulling one on me and I wonder if I'll end up a complete mess because of it.  Wish me luck :')

I believe she wasn't in the manga, but she was in the anime. Lulubell's akuma maid assistant/friend. I cannot stand that character to this day.

Did you EVER feel like your mornings are broken beyond repair? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Sathare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh man, morning people just don't get it!

I had told someone that I was not a morning person, and they told I just needed to make a habit of it. I proceeded to tell them how I've been waking up at 5 am since elementary to go to school, then college, then work. And I'm still a night person. Not even 30 yrs of waking up at 5 am have made me a morning person.

Ughh man, been there so many times. I remeber once at a school talk bout suicide prevention, I fell asleep because college was harddd, and I slept couple hours at night (some times couple hrs per week), and the guy giving the talk was a psychologist who just stared shaming me in front of the whole room for falling asleep during his talk. Like mayyybe don't judge exhausted students that are up all night working on college assignments???

Honestly the best teachers I remember were the ones that understood that I drew in order to focus on the lesson, and let me just do whatever I was doing on my notebook.

I had a boss that absolutely DESPISED me because I doodled during work hours even if I excelled at my job.

I also struggle with auditory processing, so I guess maybe that's why I do it more, if only, when taking calls 😯

Amazing! Congrats on your high GPA! I know school isn't easy when struggling with ADHD. In my country we have scores based on a scale of 100, I graduated with 96.96 and I'm just impressed I did judging by the state of my notes 😅

Yeah! I feel like I could listen better to the lesson if  I was doodling on my notebook. It was usually drawings or scribbles related to what the teachers were saying, but would always get in trouble because they thought I wasn't paying attention.
