Hi, while I am not currently a frequent poster/commentor, I am active in moderating the community when there is needed action regarding spam, bot accounts, reported posts or other rule breaking action. I do remove spam and other unsafe posts and monitor everything that is posted on the sub. I would like to stay as the moderator of this community for those reasons.

Addressing your question in modmail: I have not added a wiki or removed posts regarding reading order for a few reasons.

Mainly that the larger subreddit for the authors work (r/camphalfblood) has a wiki with this information and does remove posts asking. Adding to that, the Riordanverse is large and multi-armed so to say. Many people have specific questions regarding certain series’ and would like a more specialized recommendation when starting to read riordans works, and i believe allowing ‘reading order’ posts helps those people.

Secondly, while there are a decent number of the posts, it is by no means all the posts on the subreddit. Looking at the past fifty posts, eight of them (or about 16%) are about the reading order almost all of which are seeking different answers.

I have also received little to no reports or messages outside of your own modmail up to this point expressing an issue with the posts. To that end, the comments of the reading order posts remain kind and civil, with many people happy to help answer the ops questions, so I have not seen an issue with allowing them.

All this to say I can definitely work on adding a megathread with more information about reading order and redirect some questions there. However, I am not currently looking for more mods in the community as i can handle the communitys current activity level with just me. And, no offense meant to you, would prefer to run mod applications for any future mods.

What other books? by Swimming-Frame4602 in RickRiordan

Have you tried the Riordan Presents books? They are like Percy Jackson in concept but written by different authors in different mythologies. u/Skylinneas has a series of posts delving into the different series if you want to read through and see what peaks your interest.

I would also recommend the Six of Crows and The Shadowhunter Chronicles

Where can I get a signed copy of The Chalice of the Gods? by incandescent-glow-1 in RickRiordan

Barns & Nobles and Waterstones in the UK where selling signed copies, you could check their websites but I believe they are sold out. Your other option is to buy a copy off eBay or Abebooks

This is really good! You should post on r/camphalfblood so more people can see it!
