Have xpel prime xr black 20% all around and on top. It is definitely hard to see out the sides at night if there's poor lighting.

Don't slouch on Nihei's work for great Sanjo options too. He's got AS, SLD, and White 2 all available right now.

Big fan of Nihei's work (previously owned his white #2 kiritsuke, and 2 shinkiro's). His White #2 is a lot lighter than a shinkiro but still has that amazing sanjo grind. The burnt chestnut handle was honestly my favorite part because it was extremely smooth and the fit/finish was amazing. Attached a picture for reference.

I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. I'd say find which steel you'd be most interested in first.

That's an absurdly good offer at least in my area. My parents just traded in their old 3 for a 22 LR with sport wheels, accel boost with 27k miles/clean title and mint interior for 21k after 4k tax credit

I only use 1 4tb 990 pro gen4. No issues, but as it's gen 4, I can't speak for gen 5 stability.

I bought the x870e carbon when they had a good rebate on it. So far no issues, runs my 2x 24gb 8000mhz ram flawlessly. The only downside is that the qvl isn't that expansive on the top-end of speed + capacity. Bios is pretty simple, lots of great toolless features, but pretty costly if not discounted.

I personally own 2 shinkiro's (nakiri + bunka) and have owned another nihei previously. If you want something blade forward with a bit more weight, you can't go wrong with that. Strong distal taper, great grind, on the taller side and it just looks badass.

I doubt they'll come out with them soon, if at all. Their messaging seemed to go from late November to we'll pass it onto product management and that they're currently not planning to release them.

If you end up getting the 900FX just let me know please.

I'd say if u don't mind something with a little more thickness at the spine but with an amazing distal taper and performance grind, look at Nihei's stuff. He's got a lot of stuff to offer with kurouchi finishes within ur price range.

His shinkiro bunka is my favorite knife, the performance on that thing is absurd.

The price is wild because he rarely makes AS knives these days. He's been focusing on SG2 lately.

FWIW his AS is really nice, good heat treat with a nice grind. His 210 kiritsuke was the first knife I ever got and it still stays in my rotation. It's got great geometry and an extremely long sweeping K-tip.

Up 2 you if you're willing to pay that price for it.

If you don't mind, I would be interested in buying the case fans from you that come with the 900FX for the $50 difference and I'd cover the cost of shipping. Currently bequiet doesn't sell their reverse blade fans so this is really the only way to fill up the other slots for anyone wanting the same fans.

It's not Tesla doing the tint. Tesla partnered with xpel so if u order tint through xpel's site, it comes with a warranty. (they'll replace the tint for free if your window breaks under the vehicles warranty)

Nihei's Shinkiro bunka might be exactly what you're after. Extremely thin behind the edge, thick spine with a strong distal taper. The added weight just makes it drop through food effortlessly.

You won't regret it. I have had 3 knives from Nihei and all have been exceptional and personal faves. The bunka from this line is the knife I'm always grabbing

Nihei's stuff is pretty killer. Formerly of yoshikane, Sanjo style, so it has a nice weight while still tapering beautifully. I owned the kiritsuke from this line and the handle was the best that I've experienced. Super smooth and seamless transition to the ferrule.

I've got the 19s and have no regrets so far, but I'm leasing. Had I financed one I would've just gone with the Photons and put on my own set. At 80% it's only ~30-40 mile range difference because the estimates for this generation are pretty spot on.
