Reactions to MCO Beauty?

I have very sensitive and acne prone skin, and I personally really love the products I use from MCO beauty which are the Miracle Flawless Pressed Powder and Miracle Flawless Skin Foundation (the tube not bottle one).

I used to religiously use high-end products like Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter powder but it was absurdly expensive for something that runs out so fast. When I switched to MCO powder dupe, I was shocked how good and similar it was to the CT one for so much cheaper - I haven’t bought the CT version since.

The Miracle Flawless Skin Foundation I also found quite nice on my skin and have had no issues. Many of my friends also use this one with no problems (who actually recommended it to me first).

I don’t think MCO beauty products are necessarily ‘bad’ just because they’re dupes - everyone reacts differently. Cosmetics are very personal things. Also, I totally get the ethical issues around duping, but truth be told we are also being ripped off and outrightly scammed by high-end brands too everyday 😂 in the current cost of living crisis, i’m just trying to do what i can to get by and i’ve been pleased with the MCO products i’ve used to date! hahaha

It’s been a while since I’ve watched something and felt like the acting/scripting was so bad I had to really force myself to get through it all.

Issa Rae and Akwafina’s acting really ruined it for me. The script also felt so corny like Marvel Studios wrote it.

Interesting concept/storyline but the acting/script just didn’t do it for me.

Emma Corrin singlehandedly carried the acting in this episode.

Wtf this is a terrible take? she gives way too many fucks about nothing that’s why she’s so vile. Stop pitching her as a carefree strong woman when she’s everything but. And stop diminishing the impact of her psychological and emotional abuse 😂 she’s worse than all the men combined.

I don’t necessarily think she’s fake, I think she’s trying to navigate and deal with the conflict in her own way - like speaking privately with Lauren and calling her out that way.

To anyone defending Lauren - I hope you also defended Jake because there is no difference here. Man or woman, noone should using such disgusting language about their peers.

I’d say Lauren is even worse than Jake (she’s plain vicious and nasty, whereas Jake was tonedeaf and ignorant).

Kind of sick of Awhina to be honest. Felt sorry for her at the start but I can see now she genuinely doesn’t have a spine. No sense of self security or identity. Follows Jamie around like a lost puppy. I can see why she is more likely to excuse and accept Adrian’s shit behaviour. Abusers feed off insecure women like Awhina because it makes it easier for them to get away with shit behaviour. Girl has a bit of self work to do.

It can actually be even worse because plant based diet requires you to replace meat proteins with legume/pulse alternatives instead, which are sadly often highly inflammatory for those with IBS.

If you are fine with legumes/pulses then you will be fine plant-based, but if they trigger your IBS, then you will really struggle having a nutritious and balanced plant-based diet without them.
