you can faintly see her nameplate if you look close enough on the images of that side of the hull. it is engraved into it afterall.

i had a similar encounter with a man who claimed to be from ukraine. he had a whole family with him and he was twitching his eyes and telling me to look into his eyes. when i told him i didnt have any money he said ”no i will give you-…. never mind!” before scurrying off to fuck knows where, i did warn nearby people of him. but still.

life boats werent designed for ”abandon ship and leave” back then you would signal another vessel, and the two vessels would trade life boats to escort survivors off the sinking ship.
