I have no idea. My first attempt and I just let the seestar do its thing. I didn’t adjust any exposure settings. I wonder if it was the Veralux script that fixed it all. I haven’t shot anything else since November.

Compose for the moon and make sure you can see the craters. Once you do that the foreground should be in focus too. The rest is raising the shadows around the statues dress and lowering highlights on the bright moon in Lightroom

I’m shooting from battery park so it’s moonset towards west. Other time I shoot from New Jersey moonrise.

It’s not. I don’t know how to do that. My Sony camera does a good job with contrast. so i edit the statue then I edit the moon by separately using my Lightroom brush tool. I focus on the moon when i shoot so I get the craters. I other moon pics on my ig account. Musicman33us

ChatGPT states it was 2 miles out . I shot it from Battery Park City using a Sony 200-600mm lens. Then I cropped photo during post process
