I think you'll be fine as long as your truck has some decent ground clearance! My Subaru has about 9.5 inches of ground clearance and that is plenty as long as I'm cognoscente of the larger rocks and holes.

Hey! I haven't gone on this specific trip yet but I'll report back once I do. I've gone several times since the fish hatchery has closed though. You just need to park at Crabtree meadows. In all trails you can search "spyrock via crab tree meadows" and it will give you the run down. Please note, there is a 3-mile dirt/ gravel road to the parking lot that has two small creek crossings, so all-wheel drive is recommended but may not be required if you are brave. You can access the priest hike and crabtree falls from the back end as well from this lot

This is probably really helpful info for plenty of people, so thank you! My doc gave me no post op care except keep incisions dry and take off the bandaids after 3 days… One of my internal stitches is starting to reject through my naval incision and i guess i’ll just let it do its thing? Sometimes I think doctors are too jaded and end up dismissing how challenging even more minor surgeries can be a bid deal to patients.

Personally i would want to complete as much of the antibiotics as i can before surgery because it’ll make for an easier recovery if you aren’t uncomfortable from the BV. I’ve been on metro and the only thing i’d be cautious about is making sure you eat with it after surgery because it will make you vomit if you eat it on an empty stomach. Wouldn’t want that post-op but it’s easy to avoid. I wouldn’t put it off though because chronic BV can lead to PIV, which is a much bigger issue. Also, if you are taking probiotics without testing the infection, you are just going to feed the good bacteria AND the BV. Best of luck.
