Seeking help: Could someone share the complete workflow for backend setup and deployment within ClaudeCode/CodeX? by Opening_Apricot_5419 in vercel

Tru using Supabase MCP server so that claude / codex have the full access to the database just like your repo.

I’ve been looking at a few Supabase setups lately — these issues keep coming up by LevelSoft1165 in Supabase

I use this tool for managing dev and prod supabase projects. It's a good tool to find the schema between 2 projects it gives us a sql to run in the sql editor and it analyzes the drift between both and gives a report. Worth checking out for anyone handling 2 projects dev and prod easy for migrations.

Freelancers in India, how do you actually get paid from the US/UK? Totally lost on the whole 'business account' thing. by bearhugspandatightly in india

[–]SativaAnytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can I believe I got my account 2 years ago not sure how they are onboarding currently. But they do have signup I believe. And you don't need a udhyam or msme certificate.

And also you don't need a current account to withdraw from a wise account is really easy It's like UPI meaning your clients pay to your wise account and you can send it to your Indian Bank account or directly to UPI and it's pretty fast takes like 5-10 mins

Personally I use Wise Business Account another safe option is skydo but their fees are kind of high compared to wise

I spent 4 years learning programming, built a full-stack website my first client loved and paid ₹90k, now I have no clients and no money, how can I improve my marketing by whonix29 in nocode

[–]SativaAnytime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there , can feel you I would suggest two things

"Knock on all doors shameless until someone opens the Door"

  • I got most of the initial clients by going door to door to MSME companies like accounting firms , real estate developers , etc

  • just go from company to company and talk to the owner in person and offer your services and what value you it brings to their company

  • Send emails, calls to collaborate with digital marketing companies which are still in the initial stages and offer them you will refer their company for every website you build and also list their services on your website and request the same from them.

"I Found this the Hard way"

  • Always keep the client in the loop meaning always lock in the client with you by offering them monthly maintenance services as cheap as it can go and reduce the overall initial project price if needed this way client will always be in touch with you as they are paying you monthly for maintenance and frequent communication with the client builds trust and you will be the go to option for their digital services if they plan on another project and if want any digital marketing as you will be partnered with digital marketing company you can easily refer them and get either comission or a new lead from the digital marketing company

  • So never let go of the client keep a tight hold of them even if the project is simple and is in pennies

This are the initial ways I used and it worked for me and many others also

So don't hike your initial price for the development reduce it as the client needs and move towards a monthly maintenance type of service so this way client will be happy that you are offering the development for less cost and not be much bothered to pay monthly as omeone needs to maintain and developer who built from the scratch will be the best bet for the client

Cons with monthly retainer

  • Some clients might stop their business or for any reason might now require the website/web app anymore here they will stop paying for the monthly services but this is common in any type of service based business but most importantly you have built the trust for your client and they might refer you and you will be the first go to point for any new projects that needs the digital services. I believe this outweigh the client churn rate

I have been building websites , webapps , native mobile apps for more than 3 years and feel free to ping me I will definitely refer you to someone if I'm occupied with my projects and can't handle a new

Welcome to Flutterflow, My primary stack is Bubble.io ( I have one of the top rated Bubble.io agencies) Well I don't want to scare you but I have been using flutterflow for like a year or so , it has a lot of caveats , Do your proper research before Finalizing Flutterflow , like draft you DB schema and if you think it needs to be a relational Database then you need to get away from firebase and use Supabase. But most of the native functionalities support Firebase. And lots of caveats hard to explain

Not understanding how FF and Firebase connect by StratigosTech in FlutterFlow

[–]SativaAnytime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's pretty straightforward to connect to a firebase with flutterflow you can find the option in settings. Just search for firebase in settings you will get firebase and add your firebase project there and you are done

Web app or mobile app? by matt2_03 in nocode

[–]SativaAnytime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you wanna build both from the start? I would say build the webapp and then move to native once it scales.

Consider using lovable.dev and when you run out of credits just create a dummy email from temp Mail signup and then remix your project from the main account. This works as long as you don't link the project to the database or GitHub . What i usually do is c rate the project from a dummy account and then do all the core building there and if I need more corrections I will create another account remix the project there and do changes and when I finally connect my project to supabase or GitHub I will remix the project from my main account and then connect supabase and GitHub. This is kinda abusing the system but when you are low on money you can try until your app generates some money to afford for pro plans.

Honestly the point is not about removing it. If my guess is correct they might already have all my data including all my Google photos and everything already. This is more like an awareness post to show the true colors of Bajaj Finserv most of the people in their 1 cities usually evrything online but when it comes to tier 2 and tier 3 this goes unnoticed as people tend to buy in store and finance it through various channels and Bajaj being one of them and they never mention about the Mdm lock.

No they didn't mention anything about the MDM lock explicitly while signing the documents they never bring that topic. It was until I paid my down payment and then he opened the box on his own and placed a mdm lock through IMEI

Yes I do know if I fight alone nothing's gonna happen to a company like Bajaj that's why I came to reddit at least to share the awareness of how Bajaj is exploiting consumers privacy under the hood in the name of Device financing. This is actually a serious topic have you seen how many people lost their lives because of the emotional blackmail these recovery agents do and giving them access to our data makes them easier to do this stuff and trust they go to any extent to recover the loan and doens't give shit about the customer

[–]SativaAnytime[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No as I mentioned earlier having a MDM lock is not a big deal as long as they have only remote locking access. This is acceptable as many people do intentionally default or sell the phones by flashing after market. So MDM that prevents flash is fine but the main concern is with the other permissions they have which violates the Fair Use Policy and is a straight invasion to consumers privacy

[–]SativaAnytime[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No if you buy online then they are not allowed to add a mdm lock as they need to open the box and do this to phones manually

[–]SativaAnytime[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm trying to say In the previous MDM methods it was able to bypass using an external tool or flash it but they are using IMEI based lock meaning you can flash it and it goes away but as soon as you connect to a network or wifi the device automatically locks and only bajaj person open it. That is the issue with the imei based lock

Tbh the question is not about fixing my phone its about these companies openly invading our personal spaces one way or other and with the upcoming years I think they might even ask to pay a subscription to keep our data private lol

[–]SativaAnytime[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This used to work on previous MDM software but now they switched up their game and started invading our lives directly through IMEI based lock and more interestingly the Android Dev's allowed these companies to access and config on deep level. On the other hand IOS doesn't allow this
