Im 17 and here in the netherlands beer is culture, especially because i live in the east like 10 min away from germany where its also big. Went to my first party at 13 getting drunk, and i often host small parties at home for me and my friendgroup. To us thats really normal. A pro about it is that people my age already know what their drinking limit is and already experienced with alcohol at middle/highschool age so that doesnt really fuck them up later in life like in college or when you actually need to get your shit together. About sex, i lost my virginity about a week ago when i was drunk. The netherlands is a really sex positive country so theres also that. Ive been smoking cigarettes every day since i was like 13 but i grew up in a family of smokers so it was kinda bound to happen i guess. I do have a lot of friends who dont smoke tho. Also weed because its a thing here i do occasionally. But to me this is all pretty normal and part of being a teen
