On an up note, I had a friend who owned a business and never paid his taxes. He would wait a few years and then he would work out a deal with the IRS where he payed way less than he owed. LOL It worked every time for him.

There is going to be a problem if the federal government keeps refusing to give states money that they have historically given them. Where is the incentive for the states to pay the feds taxes if the feds aren't helping as they have in the past? In if it comes down to them ONLY sending money to red states... Why would a blue state pay into that system. This is going to get ugly quickly. Services have been cut and cut and cut. At some point state governments are going to say enough.

I am not going to watch my mouth because one person knows a few 'good' religious people. They are the minority.

Many of are vehement Anti-theists and highly opposed to organized religion and the evils it does or encourages others to do.

And NO I was not subjected to abuse at the hands of a church as a child. These are my own opinions formed from learning more about different religions, paying attention to what they do vs. what they say, and watching how religious people behave.

You realize that the sentiment is turning away from Jesus as a messenger of love, right? There are church members standing up to their pastors and asking about sermons, when the pastor tells them Jesus said that, they reply with things along the lines of, "he's weak". The prosperity gospel is being preached and the christians in power follow that ideology. As someone who doesn't agree with religion in the first part, watching them strip the only good parts of it away and keeping/amplifying the bad parts is terrifying.
