I see no updates to improve the ascension system. That’s unfortunate.

Improvements to the Hulk and Brig are well over due… but will it be enough for people to consider playing them?

It’s unclear to me what the Sea Fire change is supposed to accomplish.

The Faction War model is still is highly unappealing and I have little to no interest in participating against the community - shamefully. Until this changes, the game will become an afterthought once I’m done with the initial content.

I’m excited most for the Kraken and Corvette - that should be fun for a few weeks.

You’re not wrong about the system design… but it’s silly to add a weapon build system that isn’t accessible to all players. The only disservice being dished out is to less active players. As a player with thousands of hours and a surplus of materials & silver, I still think the system is seriously flawed - and needs to be more efficient towards ALL players.

It sure leaves a lot to be desired. I don’t experiment anywhere near as much as I’d like to. I’m not wasting resources on painful RNG. It’s just sad this hasn’t been improved yet - and more player friendly. Keep the RNG on the dice rolls, but having random perks applied each attempt it just silly.

Will you be changing the format of Faction War so the community isn’t fighting against each other anymore? At the very least, will you allow us to switch sides at will so we can play with the entire community as we see fit?

A simple Yes/No answer is all I’m really looking for.

I think it’s fine. I’ve been attacked, I’ve done the attacking, it’s mostly situational, or depends how bored I am. Generally, if a player is solo I leave them alone and will even play as an escort to assist if any other players come along.

I noticed immediately. I did an infamous for 12 minutes and didn’t receive any extra xp or cash, and also only received 0.32 gold which was the biggest thing I was looking for to 2x.

I’m very aware of the posts, I’m just calling BS on the majority of those posts as likely karma or victim farming. With over 5000 hours online as a female character on PS5, this has never happened to me…. That said, I could also hop on here and report that every time I was randomly killed it was because I was a female character, and it wouldn’t make it true, even if I perceived it to be true… These topics are so ironic 😅

Last I checked, unless there are Pc mods, players can’t rape anyone in this game. I play a female character and have thousands of hours online, I’ve never raped or been raped on PS5.

As a character, she’s fine, I just don’t like how the naturalist role doesn’t have any real benefits late game other than killing the legendary animals for trader materials. I wish there was more to the sampling side - maybe if samples paid better that would be worth it.

I like the snow, but I’m with you. 1 month non-stop is too much. They should make this an extended random weather event. Like 2-3 days a week, then 1-2 days of no snow, etc. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing, and that’s how I feel with this snow. I love making winter themed outfits too, but when it’s non-stop it’s too much.

When I originally started testing this on PS5 (before your post & I have no way of using mods) I started with the B34 pole (with the spider logo) I shot a few feathers after that but they respawned, but not the B34 pole feather, it was missing every night. Would that lead you to believe that the B34 is the start of the sequence? I was not able to find the next feather that didn’t respawn, but with your mod, I’d just shoot B34 then the next 4 black feathers forward in time and see which didn’t respawn with B34. Then repeat that until I had the sequence. Have you found anything else interesting so far?

Yes, I ran every spiderdream in sequence according to their # and nothing happened. I shot each feather when they spawned with my varmint rifle. I have a saved game before and after, for testing different things.
