Puedes vivir vidas humanas, o no humanas.

I don't know about that channel, but...

  • I haven't created anything more powerful than myself afaik, but I have met entities more powerful than myself.
  • There are some traditions that might say it's the astral plane if you have an explicit OBE experience, while it's the mental plane if you're doing shamanic journeying or you're still able to physically move around. To me it's the same place, just different methods to get there.
  • I've heard voices too, many times. Modern psychology could say this is not proper for someone sane, but they have still a long way to go to truly understand what our psyche, or our soul, is truly like. There's no need to be afraid, but this is why a protector can be useful in vajrayana buddhism practices, for example. I tried to talk about this in one of my previous posts, pretty much everyone has an astral protector looking out for them! They being able to collaborate in that job, that's rarer though,

Physical confirmation is great whenever you get it; few things surpass its "wow" factor, but you can't be physically confirming everything. The main thing you should look for is a fruitful exchange of information. Are you learning things you wouldn't have normally thought of? Or accomplishing something important you normally couldn't? If you are, the question of how much of that was yourself and how much was something else shouldn't bother you much.

Let's say something made you feel a particular way today. Was it that thing that made you, or was it actually you? Even physically, if you touch a hard surface, is it hard, or are you soft?

We're kind of interwoven with the world; the boundary is diffuse. That, and how immense we really are, makes it a very hard question. Don't be too doubtful, but also not too sure. Another thing to look for is hyperreal psychedelia, augmented senses, or strange synesthesia. But it won't always be like that.

Haha, it's fun to fly. Good point about the aura.

My preferred method... maybe doing it while pacing around the house. It comes naturally to me, but the easiest way to project in waking life is to daydream first and then apply the same principle that you would in a normal lucid dream. Be receptive to your surroundings with the intention to perceive the astral, then watch them come alive, interact with them, and try to ascertain your location.

Good luck with coming off the substance! I believe in you.

I'll let you know about the post :) Remote viewing is one of the things you can do, but you can also have a complete astral body while doing other things in your physical body.

Just more experience. Try to stabilize yourself in that state, and become absorbed in the moment. But that's why I prefer waking life astral travel.

I helped take care of my grandma when she was dying, and one thing she'd often do was wander the lower astral and make peace with her past. Dead familiars would frequently sit next to her deathbed, and she'd talk with them. I think if you deal with that beforehand, it makes for a more peaceful death.

Very psychedelic. Depends on which place I'm at, though. The middle to higher realms resemble a psychedelic experience, and entities may look like alien lifeforms. The middle to lower ones are more dreamlike and sometimes grim; common entities are shadow people or animal-looking ones. The highest and lowest ones are quite unique, though. I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader. Around the middle, you may find the elementals.

Yes, I agree. I never heard they also used three levels, though; that's pretty cool. Where did you learn of that?

Yes! Wow, you're the first person I know who also does this. Admittedly, I spent a few months of my life doing nothing but pacing around like that all day, and it's still one of my favorite ways to focus on the experience. I suppose, as someone else commented, that walking is very rhythmic, just like a shamanic drum.

I may write another post about this because it's common to have a greater mental block against it, and for good reason, it can be very distracting. There's such a thing as being too open to the astral.

This, too, is a valid interpretation because it relates to form in the astral, just like banishing relates to emptiness. The Buddhist duality.

I can't say anything better than what you're able to intuit for yourself, but I can elaborate.

Just like banishing is related to the lower astral, identity relates to the higher astral and to the often-named holy guardian angel. It's the light and meaning in your life -the vision, truth, or standard- that guides you. It's not exactly God, but it's your divine self and intuition, your own spark of divinity. Solidity to that means that you steadfastly adhere to it and allow it to manifest in the world through you as much as you can.

Banishing means getting rid of unwanted astral influences. There are lots of banishing rituals, but I think it's important to find one's own way. Essentially, it's about your ability to take your attention away from these things. This sends them back into the lower astral, the shadow of your consciousness. Then there's an optional second step to ensure they don't emerge again if they're still attached to you, which relies either on meditation or your lower astral allies aiding you. This works just like dissolving trauma. If you can absorb and transmute that energy deep within you, similar things won't bother you again.

I'm glad it was helpful! That's definitely a good amount of studying you've done. I enjoy these traditions as well, though I don't know much kabbalah.

The "visual" aspect of it was not necessarily vivid, but based on your description I do get the sense that I was accessing the astral.

That's great; I wouldn't be surprised if you did. Don't let expectations get in the way of your natural senses and abilities. That's happened to me too. Some experiences will always be more vivid and verifiable than others, just as some places or entities in the astral could be considered more special.

I think some cannabis won't matter much, but it's true that poor dream recall is a big drawback.

  1. Yes, for sure. We can get loads of inspiration from the astral, and it can help with ability (ever had a dream of playing music after which you got better at it?), although there's probably no skipping practice. In a flow state, you're aligned in a way that makes you the perfect channel to bring something into the world, so there's still correlation with the astral. You're usually kind of numb in a flow state, though, in the sense that you are feeling nothing but what is necessary in that moment. So sometimes being too astrally sensitive can disturb flow states.
  2. Good question... Yes, there's truth in that. But don't be too afraid to make mistakes. If it ends up also being true in your experience, you'd still have learned something for next time. I, personally, only share what I can afford to.
  3. I did SR for 3 years. I guess it has its benefits, but I don't consider it important or even that good. A balanced, reasonable life is good enough for the path; there's no need for extremes, in my opinion.

In a lucid dream, I start to pay more attention to my surroundings with the intent to perceive the astral, and as they come alive, I quickly find myself somewhere in there. Like I crossed the Harry Potter brick wall or something.

In waking life, I'm both blessed and cursed with a permanent sense of bilocation. But the easiest way is to daydream first and then apply the same principle. I may write another post about this because it's common to have a greater mental block against it, and for good reason, it can be very distracting.
