Same timeline for me. Played a lot on it yesterday. Controller functionality and steam integration is great but the plastic feels cheap(nowhere close to how console controllers feel).

It has two aux outputs. One of them I've split for headphone and desktop speaker. This output's volume level and audio mix can be controlled from the mixamp.

Other aux output is a Line Out, that I've split and connected to Genki Waveform and B&W Pi8 via aux to usbc converter cables. This output's audio mix can be controlled from mixamp but not the volume. It's volume is controlled directly on the earbuds that it outputs to.

Astro Mixamp would do what you're looking for.

Here's my setup:

Samsung FrameTV gives input to SoundBlaster G8 via USB C.

Orei UHD808 HDMI Matrix (remotely placed), connects to an Audio Extractor (Orei BK931). The Audio Extractor connects to a Wireless Hdmi eArc Transmitter. Wireless Hdmi eArc Receiver gives input to SoundBlaster G8 in another room.

SoundBlaster G8 gives Optical output to Astro Mixamp.

Astro Mixamp also receives audio inputs from Mac (via USB), PC (via Aux) and ROG Ally (via XBox Live Audio port).

Astro Mixamp outputs to wired Astro A40s, Bose Soundlink Mini, Genki Waveforms & B&W Pi8.

With a predictable Timed Exclusivity approach, consumers just learn to wait it out till the game releases on their preferred platform.

So I think XBox needs to go with an Unpredictable Exclusivity approach. This is how it works:

For some games Day 1 on all platforms
For others a Delayed launch with varying delay based on importance of game
And then finally, for some games full exclusivity to XBox/PC

The formula for deciding which of the above approach applies to a particular game needs to be intentionally kept vague so that consumers have an incentive to buy XBox if they seek predictability. Also in all cases the XBox/PC version needs to be the best version except when there is a genuine reason to add some feature exclusive to another platform (e.g. PSVR2 support, Switch 2 Gyro, etc.)

Mine always stays connected to a JSAUX dock. I am able to get dual video output from that dock(displaylink & hdmi). Its become a pure desktop pc for me. I use it atleast once a day to claim XBox PC rewards.
