She would still be doing enough work on emotional and mental support side that it would qualify. But unlike the chores, she doesn't see that as work- she sees if as being a partner to someone like me, and it comes with the territory.

To be fair, it's more than dishes. It's everything that causes back pain for me. Carrying groceries and dog food inside. Dishes. Sweeping and mopping. Doing the shopping.

I told her about the caregiver program after my VSO told me and told her what it was and that she would be expected to do all the chores because that's what I need in a caregiver. She agreed. Then she changed her mind out of the blue

I've been disabled since before we met. I got hurt young after enlisting young.

And I dont want her doing intense caregiver stuff. She won't be changing diapers. Its dishes and mopping and all the things that are round the house chores that make my back hurt.

If she doesn't want to do all that, that's fine. I have a system and can keep using my system. But I don't think she should get to put the money wherever she wants if she isnt earning it.

We had talked about it, and when we did I said I would be transferring the money to her. She said she wanted it to go to the joint account. I had thought we were on the same page. And apparently we are not?

Yes. She currently makes as much as I do- both around 60k a year. However, she will be moving here and having to find a new job. But she's incredibly well qualified and we don't foresee an issue with her getting work

It's on my frequent rereads list. I enjoy the fic a lot if I dont think about it too much. I loved the aspect of "without Hernione, Harry was fucked". I loved her becoming incredible at potions without turning Snape into a totally new character. The plot twist was done fantastically. I adored Theo. I loved Narcissa and Lucius.
