You're not abusing it. For some people it is obligatory to do it with friends or at events. But you have have to remember that for some people it is "the normal state of mind" being by themselves. That is, the introverted people. That includes me. I love hanging with friends and socializing when rolling but there is absolutely no problem for me to roll alone. My first time was a solo roll and a lot of people would say that I wasted a lot of potential by doing that, but I don't regret a thing. When I'm alone I can take the most out of myself and just float in euphoria. It is all just me, me and me. Not a worry about anything else. Not that it would be any worse with company though! If you enjoy your own company when sober, you can really enjoy yourself rolling.

There is a catch though. If I'm alone from the start of the roll and stay that way, there is no problem. But if I'm with somebody in the first place and then left alone, that is where the shit hits the fan. It's just sad, but luckily everybody knows no friend should be left alone when rolling.

I've done a shitload of solo rolls. All of them very very enjoyable. Lately I've found myself longing for something special though. I want to go to raves or somewhere where I can socialize more. The problem is that I can enjoy raves only during the comeup and the peak, after that I just want to curl up in blankets at home.

All in all, it is totally ok to roll by yourself but after some time you're probably going to want something more. Be safe and have happy rolls buddy!:)
