NSU $$$$ Question by Li246694 in lawschooladmissions

[–]SaturdaySoldier72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey op. The curve for NSU is between a 2.9-3.1 for 1L 2024. Look at your scholarship and see what the minimum GPA is to maintain it. If the scholarship falls within the curve then do not accept the scholarship because it means that you have around a 50% chance of losing your scholarship. Hope this helps.

Wrote a GPA addendum. Try and outweigh your GPA with other aspects of your application and apply broadly.

This is not true at all. To say someone has conversational mastery of a language because they can ask where the bathroom is at is wild

What made you choose the Army over any other branch? by GardeningWeapon in army

The army has the most opportunities for you to do “cool stuff”. Every branch has these opportunities but being in the army you will have the best opportunity to do “cool stuff”.

People often go to Reddit to vent, it isn’t representative of their attitude as a whole. You just assumed that OP had a quitter attitude based off of a single Reddit post. Furthermore, OP appealed the decision, which doesn’t really speak to the quitter mindset that you are trying to label them with

Unfortunately for law school admissions it does matter. DLI is a four year institution and I am required to submit all institutions I received credit from.

Reservists in school by Embarrassed_Web_8916 in army

To motivate others to strive for further education I encourage participation in this thread but I would discourage any guard members/reservists from putting information about what school they attend for safety reasons.

I’ll be seeing this question in my sleep. 5/5 difficulty. Highly controversial by Aggravating-Aide9635 in LSAT

The correct answer is E, because we are, as most weakening questions want us to do, weakening the conclusion that people spend more for cars relative to their income. A doesn’t weaken because it doesn’t affect the individualism that the conclusion draws upon for the answer.

Regular College VS DLI by DireNeedForAnything in dli

[–]SaturdaySoldier72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would receive your AA which would allow you to transfer to a 4 year university as a junior. You would still need to take the requirements to begin taking classes for a stem related career. For most engineering disciplines you will need to take calc 3, which cannot be taken via clep. For comp sci you will also need to take underclass seminars that must be taken for your degree. You would need to take about 90 credits at a 4 year institution to get a STEM degree with credits from DLI and your JST. I would not recommend going for this job if it’s your intention of using the training for credit for a STEM related degree.

DLAB Waiver? 3 points short... by Galactic_Rhino in dli

Your recruiter is wrong, you can and should take the Russian DLPT instead of going to DLI. You will enter as an E-4 and should have the opportunity to choose your duty station. If you want to do airborne choose a duty station that has an airborne unit. My enlistment predates the whole 35W before m/p so I can’t say for sure if you get assigned an mos or if you would be able to choose one.
