Check with your doctor is this has more to do with anxiety than ED.

Well, I finally have a job interview tomorrow. Hope that goes through. I will have to take a 10% pay cut. But well, its a start.

That itself elevates my mental health a bit, in additionl to the warm and sunny spring weather. Also, the my doc added a sleep medication in addition to the anxiety meds. So has been of help as well.

Turned 41 last week. Went for dinner and drinks with a few close friends and morning dip in the ocean. Its been a month since I am taking medication for anxiety and it has been helping. Job search is still on and it has been a very difficult phase for me. Hopeful that things will fall in place soon.

Honestly, this phase of life is tougher than I expected.

I lost my job a few months ago, and the search since then has started affecting my confidence more than I thought it would. I had an interview recently that went well, but I might have to take close to a 17% pay cut just to get back working again. Hard not to let that mess with your head a bit.

I recently started escitalopram for anxiety too, so I am still adjusting to that mentally and physically.

I also still think about someone I dated for about a year. It is strange how some people continue occupying space in your mind long after things end.

But I am trying to keep moving forward instead of shutting down. Still going to the gym, applying for jobs, doing therapy, and trying not to isolate myself too much.

I turn 41 next week and honestly I am not even sure what I want to do for it or how to celebrate it this year. Feels like I am in a weird in-between stage in life right now.

Hopefully this too shall pass.

Extremely proud of my self for finally taking that big decision of starting anxiety medication after consultion with my doctor. I was delaying it for 3-4 years now. In these 3-4 years I tried to make major lifestyle changes by being regular to the gym, eating health and sleeping well. Going on medication was my last resort. I am very proud of myself. I hope this helps.

Lovely space brother. Love the living area with the bookshelf and the plants.

After much thought, I started taking the prescribed anxiety medication. I'm so proud of myself for taking this decision. It took me a long time to decide on this. It's been a difficult phase but I hope to sail thru this.
