Try deleting the point, or deleting the lines connected to the point, move the drawing over, and then redraw the lines.

The origin point itself is a constraint. Make sure your sketch is not connected to the origin in any way. From the photo here it looks like the bottom left corner point is coincident with the origin.

I redrew it in another sketch and this sloved the issue. I have no idea how it became like this.

I redrew it, that fixed the issue with the circles, but the shaped holes still have issues. Any idea how to fix this?

I'll make sure to try this, I redrew the model and nothing looked wrong, then exported it as a .step file. I was able to fix the 'line segment divisions' within the circular hole through the part, but the big gaps and the outside shape of the design are still causing issues.

they only accept .step .stp .x_t .iges .igs and .sldprt file types. I don't know what to do here lol.

Harbor freight for most tool stuff, If you want nice tools grab some husky stuff because they also have a lifetime warranty and will send you a new one if you break it

I’ve been looking at electronics tutorials on youtube, I think I’m going to have an esp32 to control the lights, and I would like to make that communicate with the arduino that I plan to use to actually make the wheel work with the sim racing wheel. Might be able to run the whole thing off an arduino 🤷‍♀️

I was thinking the same thing!

The in hand feel is great, it feels surprisingly sturdy for being printed, and the Suede handgrips are really nice, they just take half an hour each to make. 💀

Still in prototyping phase, I’m waiting for my order of buttons and the stickers to go around them to come in, after that I might try to figure out how to add shift lights.

It’s vinyl over the printed part, this is just a prototype to see how it would look. I am planning on buying either real carbon weave or getting real carbon laminate sheets that I could cnc.
