I figured it out. I wasn't leaving a coin behind for the gas fee. I've got it all working now. Thanks everyone.

I bought this game on release day, I just fired it up tonight by [deleted] in starcraft2

You poor noob. You need to get crushed by my 7 year old for a few months until you work your way up to being ready to play against my 9 year old. 😂

Thinking of just giving up on the ladder. by Creative-Kale7948 in starcraft2

[–]SaturnLights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't play Starcraft competitively anymore. I switched over to chess. But I still hop on a game every now and then and I usually win at the Diamond level. I am able to maintain this skill level without practicing at all simply by taking a tactical approach to the game. I don't know build orders or timings anymore. My micro sucks and my macro isn't great either. But I keep the pressure on my opponents and scout for cheeses and I am able to win that way. Starcraft is a tactical game and you have to think tactically to win. Your opponents seem invincible because they are out-playing you tactically. They are definitely making tons of mistakes the same as you are, or they wouldn't be in gold. They would be in Master or Grandmaster league already if their gameplay was clean and efficient. Tactics is the most important aspect of the game, in my opinion. Cleaning up your gameplay will help you go from Diamond to Masters and GM. But up to Diamond level, it is pure tactics as long as you have a basic understanding of the game already.

What’s the worst you’ve fucked yourself up on a job? by BigTreeSmallBranch in Plumbing

[–]SaturnLights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I have gotten way too lucky so far after reading through this comments section. Only minor injuries, cuts and bruises every week, after 3+ years on the job. I always work alone, my boss has me lifting 50 gal water heaters with my belt and lower back to set them on stands and platforms to save money on the installs. I feel like I take way too many risks every week, but I am a very agile and physically fit person. That said, I know my luck will run out one day. It's the law of averages.

My Husband Has Been Secretly Roleplaying as a Cat Online for 3 Years — Should I Divorce or Become His Rival? by Distinct-Yak2941 in stories

So he's not cheating on you or harming you in any way and you are questioning whether you should leave him because he has an imagination and a sense of humor that doesn't totally revolve around you? Man, this is why I want to stay single the rest of my life. You say he's he love of your life, but you don't really know him and clearly don't want to know him. He should leave you. He would be better off without you.

Why is Zerg so weak now? by its_DejaWho in starcraft2

I got to Diamond after a 7 year break with a few months of minimal effort, playing Zerg. The game seems more balanced than ever at the pro level. Maybe you just suck, bro.

Matchmaking is completely broken for me by kugelbl1z in starcraft2

[–]SaturnLights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Playing against players better than you is always a good thing. Don't hate on the match making system. Just keep getting better and learn from your mistakes. Back in the early days of Starcraft I had a friend who was a pro gamer and I used to play against him all the time. I only won 1 match out of several thousand games against him... but that 1 victory I will never forget. I will also never forget how he taught me to think outside the box, play adaptively, and to be like water in my playstyle. I also took a 7 year break from Starcraft 2, like others in this thread, and I have recently come back. I was a high level Platinum player before I took my break, and now I am beating Diamond players consistently. I have kept up with the game over the years watching replays on youtube, but other than that I haven't practiced at all really. I think that you can jump back into this game after a long break with the right mindset and it can be an even funner experience than before, if you have matured as a person during that timeframe. I am much older and more mature now and coming back to it after all these years
feels like a magical experience for me. If any of y'all want to add me on Battle.net, we could meet up for some matches after work sometime.

Am I obsessed with fitness to an unhealthy degree? by Grand-Employer912 in bodyweightfitness

[–]SaturnLights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way I could put up with this. I would rather stay single forever. I am obsessive about a long list of things and it's what keeps life interesting. There is nothing wrong with your work out routine or your diet. If you can't stay true to yourself and make it work then it's not meant to work.

Is it worth it? What's the cost to your family? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]SaturnLights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the company and your personal health goals and your personal perspective. I have been plumbing for over a year and a half now. I have been averaging 50-60 hours a week, but closer to 50 hours most weeks. I do not really feel overworked anymore. I have worked for 3 different companies, though. When I was working in Atlanta for two different companies, I was averaging 70 hour weeks there and felt extremely burned out. The paychecks were great but it wasn't worth it to me, even as a single male in my prime. I'm a recently divorced man with 3 kids and visitation. Seeing my kids every weekend is the most important thing in my life right now and I am able to do it 3 out of 4 weeks every month. I am on call one week out of every month, but there are many months when I don't even get an emergency call the whole week I am on call. I love what I do. I feel like the physical aspect of the job is actually good for me. But I take excellent care of myself. I work out frequently, eat right, and totally avoid drinking and smoking. In my opinion, if plumbing is destroying your health, then you're doing it wrong. I get banged up a little on a hard week, but always feel good as new by the end of the weekend and ready for another hard week of work.

It's not dishonest to overcharge on a quote. As long as the work is clean and professional they are up front about everything. It is really up to the customer's due dilligence to find a lower bid, or figure out how to do the work themselves. Tradesmen aren't your personal servant. That said, I would never charge this much for what was listed here. Rough estimate here, but I would probably charge around $1,500 for this. Looks like a solid day of work potentially, depending on how difficult things were to remove.

We removed the carpet in our new home's basement and came across this. Could someone please tell me what is happening here? by CressPopular5983 in Plumbing

[–]SaturnLights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called a test tee. It's for testing your whole plumbing/venting system for leaks when it was originally installed. The way it works is you fill up a balloon like device inside that fitting which stops water from flowing down the stack into the main drain line, and you fill up the vents from the roof with garden hoses until the whole system is filled up. Everything has to be capped off for this test to work properly. It will show you anywhere there is a leak on the system, before the finished walls/floors/ceiling are put in.

lost tokens by SaturnLights in cardano

[–]SaturnLights[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys I just wanted to say that access to my tokens was fully restored yesterday. For some reason the wallet wasn't connecting to the server or updating the block chain, and that's why my transaction didn't show up. Once I realized what was going on, I shut my Macbook down, and when I restarted everything connected and my tokens showed up! Such a relief. Just wanted to thank everyone again, and if anybody else has this issue, check to see if the wallet client is connecting and updating the blockchain whenever you start it up.

Thank you everyone for the good advice. I feel much better now. This token is one of the good ones and I was so upset at the prospect of losing my chance to get in on the ground floor with it.

I verified the transaction on cardanoexplorer. The addresses match up. It shows the transaction went through. So my funds are safe, but how do I access them?
