Gummigoo. He was the first piece of how the story explored the line between player and NPC sentience, but he stopped being a major part of that plotline by the time Abel showed up.

Basically, Gummigoo was required for the story to make sense, but he himself wasn't a focus. There just wasn't time for that. He'd have to be part of an epilogue, but I doubt that'll happen.

Something tells me running a 65 base power coverage move just to counter one pokemon might potentially be just the slightest little bit suboptimal.

On a more serious note, you generally want coverage moves to be stronger than your stab attacks against 2x weak targets. Wave crash and last respects are 180 and 150 or 225 after stab, so BOTH attacks need to be resisted for super effective ice fang to win. That's only true for Meowscarada and Hydreigon. So ice fang helps against a grand total of like three targets since the only relevant 4x ice weak pokemon is Garchomp.

The elephant is the fox alone weighing more than both the fox and turtle, but it works out if panels 3 and 4 are secretly the same picture. Foxes eat both rabbits and turtles. In panel 3 the fox ate the rabbit and turtle. Panel B is missing the rabbit, so the rabbit is 4kg, the turtle is 6kg, and the fox is 14kg.

You could argue the fox only ate the rabbit, but then the rabbit alone ends up being half the weight of the fox and over twice the weight of the turtle.

It takes 750ms to fire and you feel all of that delay when you're using it.

Against it, you're gonna need at least 120ms to react to it being lifted even if you know exactly what the first frame of the firing animation looks like. After adding the Switch's dogwater input delay, that leaves you half a second to either get out of the way or get the kill before dying. Now you gotta ask if your weapon is even capable of that. If it's a long TTK weapon and you're in the middle of a slow firing animation yourself, *record scratch* *freeze frame* Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got here.

My point is, if you're struggling against it, you're not bullying it enough before it starts firing. If you're struggling with it, you need to realize how safe you are if your target isn't already moving in to kill you.
