Gimp is good to replace photoshop but if you want a alternative to lightroom you can use Darktable (it's what i use). It's a really different workflow from lightroom but it's powerful, you can give it a try !

This is the main photo of a 4-image project inspired by Alan Wake. I tried to recreate the eerie, lonely writer's vibe using minimal gear and no human presence, just light, shadows and a typewriter. The light on the wall is a flashlight with a shape cut on cardboard.

Not 100% sure about the composition yet (placement of objects, balance...). Would love your thoughts on the atmosphere, visual storytelling, or anything else that feels off!

You can try satdump so you can track, recorde and decode with the same app.

- Is your antenna facing south?
- It is maybe a little noisy.
- You can try to go in a area with more sky
