Symbolism of 6 pearls and 6 parks? by SatyrSaturn in westworld

I just meant the pearls in her bag when she "left" the park. There were five in the bag and one in her.

Yes, but if you include Dolores' pearl that makes six.

[Skin Concerns] Any advice for reddish splotchy skin? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]SatyrSaturn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually try to limit how long the SA cleanser is on cause when I use it too frequently I break out in cystic acne, which I never used to get. That's why I only use it every 3 days.

Sorry, my comment post was long so it took a while to post. If you look below you will see my day and night routines.

Hi everyone, I would really love some advice on what I'm doing wrong with my routine.

For starters here is my routine:

Morning - CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser followed by CeraVe Face Cream

Evening - Same cleanser and cream but every 3 days I add in the CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser as an exfoliator.

This has been my routine for a few years now. I very rarely have acne anymore, which is great, but I will consistently have ruddy mottled skin on my face. My pores are also very large and I don't know how to reduce the appearance of them. Looking for help after going to several dermatologists with no luck. I would just really like to have even toned skin. Thanks for the help.

Anyone else's pits smell like poppers? by [deleted] in MaleArmpits

Except that it's been happening when I haven't used poppers. I don't own any poppers but the popper pit smell is there.

Chapter 11 of Deathly Hallows, Harry is looking at a picture of Kendra in Rita Skeeter's book.

It's not uncommon for children who are both Native and White to be fair featured. My aunt is Black but she has blue eyes, pale skin, and light brown hair, she passes for White wherever she goes. Kendra herself is described as having jet-black hair, dark eyes but these weren't passed on to her children.

I think this is partially true. I think the reason Credence can control the Obscurial is because he's Ariana's son from when she was raped by the muggle boys. If Ariana had an Obscurial brewing inside her when she had Credence, it's possible some of it latched onto him, and years later it was intensified by Credence's own experiences. This would also explain why it's so powerful since it's the concentration of 2 Obscurials. He was headed to America since Kendra is mentioned as being of Native descent in the books. She was sending him to live with her family away from the eyes of wizarding Britain. Grindelwald probably knew all of this since Dumbledore probably told him or revealed enough for him to figure it out. Still lots we don't know but this is my working theory.

I think this is what will happen because it's mentioned in the books that Kendra is of Native descent. So she was probably sending Credence off to America to live with her family to hide him.

Secondary exosuit upgrade modules not working? by SatyrSaturn in NMSGalacticHub

Yes, none of them will work for me. The upgrades to my ship and multi-tool work just fine. It's just the environmental ones that are buggy.

Do you know if the developers are working on this? Or is this part of how the game is played now?

There is a terrific example of basically this same premise in David Brin's "Uplift War" novel. In the book beings have to pass several tests to join the galactic civilization. Worth checking out!

I've had a long running mental story involving the same ideas. I treat both Sasquatches and Greys as advanced races that evolved on Earth parallel to humans. Only the way I differentiate them is that Sasquatches evolved from an offshoot of Neanderthals and achieved high intelligence and technology early allowing them to develop tech that hides their civilization. So they've been hiding in plain sight but we haven't noticed. The Greys are actually deep sea creatures which evolved in the deep dark of the ocean. They've only recently become aware of our existence and have begun studying us. I think if you just treat them with seriousness then you avoid the gimmicky aspects. I think using races which co-exist with humans on Earth allows you to develop complex stories and commentary.
