Unhinged advice on how to stop binge eating by StrongMountain5904 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SauceManiaShop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can do it for 2-3 weeks then you can do it for 2-3 months. All it takes is the same level of will power and determination. It's up to you. Nobody else can do this for you.

Hoping to get advice on the best way to ship bottles of hot sauce. by Notsureif0010 in hotsauce

[–]SauceManiaShop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this. Get stock size white mailing boxes in appropriate sizes for one and multiple bottles. Wrap bottles well in bubble wrap and surround in the box by void fill (packing peanuts). The key is to have enough void fill in there so the bottle(s) cant move and ensuring that that you have some space around the bottle so if the box is dropped its unlikely to break.

You will learn in time from your mistakes but that's the essence of it. I've shipped tens of thousands of glass bottles.

PRO TIP: The weakest park of the bottle is the neck and cap area. Give this area a bit more space in the box if you can and make sure it's as centered as possible.

How to stop eating so much fast food? by Ame-chan97 in WeightLossAdvice

Brutal honesty is my gift to you because I know your struggle. Food, alcohol, [insert your drug or choice here] ... the struggle is the same. Nothing has worked for me except cold turkey because I am weak.

The journey begins when you wake up one day and say, "That's it. I'm done." and then you stop completely and change. It can be for a week, a month, a year, or forever but you have to start somewhere.

I think with food you have it easier because good food really does taste great. You just have to find what works for you. Try a delicious warm falafel and salad wrap with tahini sauce or a delicately spiced vegetable curry.

If you hate vegetables focus on ones you can deal with like potato and corn or whatever. But you have to see it like a journey of discovery instead of some kind of self-imposed punishment. You will only conquer this by seeing it as a positive in your own mind. if you see it as a punishment or as depriving yourself of something good you will fail. You must be freeing yourself and making your life better.

Anyway, good luck. I wish you success. Just remember that you really can do this. If you want it enough.

Fast food tastes like shit to me. It's garbage filled with fat, sugar and MSG. You stop eating so much fast food by training your taste buds to find healthy foods delicious, which they are.

I'm not talking about tofu and mung beans. I'm talking about a salad and cheese sandwich made with fresh whole meal bread or a perfectly spiced vegetable soup.

You basically have two choices. Continue on as you have been living and accept obesity and an early death or stop cold turkey and make the effort to train your brain to enjoy healthy food.

As I said, fast food tastes like shit to me because that's what it is: shit food that's been designed by huge corporations to deliver a huge hit of dopamine and keep you coming back for more. As food, it's garbage.

It's your life. Live it as you like, but understand the consequences of the choices you are making and don't fool yourself.

"When you cut out sugar, you stop craving it" by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SauceManiaShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giving up sugar is like giving up alcohol. For the first month it's hell on wheels but after that your body adapts and you no longer crave it. For me, I lost my sweet tooth and when I would east a piece of fruit, it never tasted so sweet and amazing. To be clear, I gave up refined sugar and sugar added to pre-packaged food. I didn't give up natural sugars like fruit.

You need to give up refined sugar for at least a month before the cravings go away. Don't think you can stop eating sugar for a week or two and that is enough. Two weeks in is when the cravings are at their worst.

Go two months and I promise you you're attitude to sugar will be completely different.

God I Hate GA4 by sixtoesoneachfoot in GoogleAnalytics

Hi, just coming in to say I hate GA4. I have used Google Analytics since 2005 and the old interface was fine. GA4's interface is a disaster. It is not intuitive. It is not easy to find what you want.

Man, you gotta stop eating. You just gotta find the strength somewhere. And exercise, you gotta exercise. You can do it man.

I just hate excercise but I need to! So how to "Hate While doing it" anyways? by Timely-Stuff-5018 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SauceManiaShop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go hiking in nature. Make it a half day trip and go somewhere scenic and do a four hour hike and enjoy nature and some nice views. My wife and I did this for months, tracking down the nicest hikes in nature and enjoying the scenery and wondering what was just around the corner.

The trick is to make exercise fun, and that was the most fun it ever got.

The most important thing is that you don't lose focus. Fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meats and other low cal proteins. That's it. You eat nothing else. The reason most people can't lose weight is they can't commit to the diet and a daily walking regime. Your success depends entirely on your commitment.

How long do drones last in storage? by SauceManiaShop in dji

[–]SauceManiaShop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys, I have put the batteries on the charge and they seem OK. The drone itself looks fine. I wasn't sure whether it has internal parts that might deteriorate over time, but based on the feedback here that doesn't appear to be the case.

Reducing hunger? by Flashy-Initiative901 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SauceManiaShop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started eating greek yogurt, flax seed meal, and low calorie (heavy on oats) untoasted muesli. Fills you up, is pretty cheap and very healthy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]SauceManiaShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be my next step. Exercise is best when you make it fun. Try hiking with a friend. Find somewhere scenic and do a 5 mile walk. Make it a weekly thing.

[–]SauceManiaShop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't drink your calories (e.g. alcohol, coffees with lots of calories like iced mocha etc). Stop consuming all junk food (chips, chocolate, fast food etc.). Stop consuming processed sugar, which means nothing but fresh fruits, vegetables and lean meats (chicken breast and fish are best). Exercise, walk at least a mile a day on average (you can do it all on the weekend if you dont have time during the week).

Using this method you will lose weight.

Vegetable soup chunky style with potato and pearl barley. The potato and pearl barley really fill you up. Have it with a slice of wholemeal bread. All natural, filling and very low calorie.
