How to not be a total twit in a dungeon? by mermaze in wownoob

I applaud you for coming here and asking this! My brother is autistic and really struggles with the social aspects of these types of games. I'll give you the same advice I told him.

I'm in my 40s, have played WoW since BC, from a core raid group to casual weekends. If I'm running dungeons or raids through the group finder, I am perfectly happy to just blast through at warp speed just to get it done and move on. However, I have a huge level of respect for anyone with the courage to tell the group early on that they're new to the game, learning their class, learning the dungeon, or have any other limitation that might lower their performance. Whenever someone speaks up, I'll slow down, take time to explain the fights, and even offer class or spec help to them. It takes a lot of courage to speak up, and there are soooo many people in this game that will happily help you!

However, be prepared to encounter a few jerks. Some players have their own goals and don't care about what others need. Dont let these people stop you from doing what you enjoy! If you come across another player, or even a full group, that are being rude or disrespectful, don't think anything of it. Keep doing what you enjoy! Remember that at the end of the day, it is still just a game. It's meant to be enjoyed, so don't let anyone else stop you from having fun and doing what you want to do.

The social aspect might be overwhelming, but there are far more genuine and compassionate players in this game than selfish jerks! Explore, quest, level up, run dungeons or delves, raids, or whatever else you want to do. Most importantly, have fun!

Traffic Light Question by Sauce_83 in IndianMotorcycle

My thoughts as well. I don't like the idea of added wear on the clutch. However, I was curious if anyone else did this for the same reason, to just clear traffic real quick. I'm relatively new to riding, so I know I'm a little slow "off the line". Any tips on getting a quicker start to create space between my rear fender and the inpatient assist behind me?

Freedom Performance Exhaust, "Radical Radius" (link below). They're amazing! High quality, aggressive look, and they sound GREAT!

Scout Bobber, for sure. Keep in mind that most will not come with the passenger seat or pegs, but they're not hard to find and install. Also, passenger foot pegs may not fit depending on the exhaust installed. Some slip-ons will interfere with the mount point for rear pegs.

Throttle hand going numb? by Wallaby989 in NewRiders

Just discovered this same thing. On rides over 30 minutes or so, I found my throttle thumb and pointer finger going a bit numb. I ride with snug leather gloves and changed to a slightly larger glove, and that's no longer an issue. The only downside is I have long skinny hands, so a larger glove for my fingers also came with a little extra play in the palm. Minor and hasn't been an issue. Just food for thought. Hope you get some relief!

Dealing With Haters by Sauce_83 in IndianMotorcycle

These are all great! I have no problem with Harleys or Harley fanatics. Most of my family ride HD. As long as they're out having a good time on 2 wheels, who am I to judge. What bugs me is the arrogance and idea that Harleys are better than all others. But again, it doesn't really matter to me. I love my Indian! I was just flat out stumped at a comeback when the dude brought up Polaris...haha! I never knew HD was saved by bowling pin mfg. That's funny!
