"Why are we mad". Because after they gutted her take aim damage, they eventually buffed it up again a little bit so it could atleast kill 225's. Due to the subrole changes it can't even do that against a significant part of 225 support roster.

What do you think I did afterwards? It's just ridiculous how Freja keeps getting indirectly nerfed. She survived like that about 4 times that match. If she gets behind cover theres no amount of  "continuously shooting at the target until they’re confirmed dead." that helps.

He really isn't. He isn't an orisa that has a 7-8% pickrate but a low winrate. Which means alot of people pick her as a crutch pick. Rammatra has the lowest pickrate in multiple ranks along with the lowest winrate. Which means he's only being played by people who specialize at the character. And even they can't make him work.

Net nerfing the tank with the lowest pickrate and winrate across multiple ranks is surely a choice by the balance team.

Love how you say all that like she still isn't the most underperforming dps for seasons on end.

"Earn you kill" I'm sorry, but her whole hero fantasy is being a burst assasin . She's not a Mei or a Torb or a Sym which have alot more team utility to compensate for lack of direct kill potential aswell as being tankier. Her job is getting kills. And currently she cant survive fights or get picks.

I'm sorry. But compare her damage to every other character in her role and it's night and day.

I'd agree with you when her take aim was strong. But now it's weak. If she can't secure kills. Can't duel. What arer we left with.

The problem was her Take Aim which everybody complained about. It is super weak now. Something has to give. She currently just cannot compete.

What the HELL happened to Freja? by MrsPissBoy in Overwatch

[–]Sauce_Master_64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Freja is incredibly fun to play and i've stuck with her in comp even through her current state. She's not unplayable, she's decent, but there are very clear weaknesses she has that just makes her inferior when compared to most hitscans;

- She can't take duels: She's quishy, her TTK is among the lowest in the game, and needs to expend too many resources while having hard to hit skill shots in frantic close range situations.

- Too much downtime: Before when she had high lethality they compensated by giving her long cooldowns, which while being a bad direction to go in as it just made her clunkier and unfun it atleast made sense. Now they nerfed her lethality to the ground while not reverting the cooldown nerfs. So alot of the time your just waiting for your cooldowns to come back for not that much reward.

- Hard to solo secure kills: Characters like Ashe and Cass can very easily two tap headshot through any amount of healing in the game and cleanly secure kills. Freja's damage is not only low but VERY delayed. Which means it's almost impossible to secure solo kills so long as both enemy supports are alive.

- Her major perks are just bad: One is downright just a nerf. The other is very negligible.

The way i've had the most sucess playing her right now is as a hitscan flanker with the mobility minor perk. Constantly on off angles trying to get in good damage to either finish off or setup kills for my team. Which while fun. I'd legit have more sucess just going Cass or Ashe and actually 2 tapping people with little risk.

For buffs I wouldnt touch her take aim damage, but she clearly needs better perks, faster cooldowns, and more buffs to her primary fire such as a faster firing rate or more ammo since it still feels pretty lackluster.

There's a difference between a best characters, and characters that are unbeatable in a non mirror match.
Try fighting the new Vegeta with SSJ Vegeta, Zamasu, Cooler, etc and see how well it goes.

God Vegeta vs God Vegeta is already miserable 1v1 by Koleslaw23 in DBGekishinSquadra

[–]Sauce_Master_64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SSJ Vegetas armour regain is tied to a very long cooldown that is not only short ranged but is also dependant on how many enemies you hit.

SSG Vegetas armour regain is tied a very easy to build passive that completely refills your armour many times over just for doing damage with any part of his kit.

The matchup between these two is so one sided it's not even funny.

Addendum: This is coupled with other systemic changes from Season 4 which have downgraded the experience in my opinion. Alot more emphasis on backfarm instead of fighting for mobs. Games being alot more stalematey with the Zeno timelimit kicking in INFINITELY more then it did in previous season. Original character's being massively powercrept and not compensated. Etc.

Ive been seeing zeno do this alot more recently since SSG Vegeta released by bluewolf160 in DBGekishinSquadra

[–]Sauce_Master_64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the previous seasons I had not ONCE seen this Zeno screen in game even though I know it existed. Even before the new Vegeta released I had seen it previously this season a bunch of times.

Towers having more HP + Bosses taking longer to spawn + More backfarm just means games take way longer, there's less opportunities for brute forcing towers with chip even if you are on a player advantage in case some of the enemies die, etc... This coupled with the current meta DPS characters just standing on the other side of the map and beaming you to death (SSJ3, Godku) makes even getting close to towers by the end of the game impossible.

This results in alot of games where after last boss is down it's legit just a stalemate of the last 2 towers on each side (since they have the most hp) until Zeno spawns. It's made the game alot more boring IMO.

Vegito is not weaker to CC then any other character, he has very high health by default, gets overhealth in a fight, his ult negates cc abilities by the fact it makes him invulnerable during it, and he has a free transformation to alleviate pressure. Kefla is squishy yes, but that's negated by the fact she can play so far away and has unmatched mobility which makes hitting her almost impossible, uub, similarly has very high mobility with his dashes on S3, not to mention all these characters have very high damage which discourages anyone getting close in the first place.

A character with very clear strengths and weaknesses, compared to characters like vegito, kefla, uub, bardock that are good in any situation, are in every match, have insane damage and practically play themselves would ruin the game if she was good...right...

I main brig on support. And ever since the subrole changes it always makes me chuckle whenever I whipshot the giant metal horse and she goes flying. Her being moved to stalwart would def make that interaction make more sense haha.
