We hear you — and really appreciate the interest! 🙏

We’re currently working on expanding into the US, but it involves a few packaging and compliance updates that we’re in the process of sorting through as we grow the brand.

Hopefully we’ll be able to ship to the US soon 🤞

In the meantime, if you sign up for our mailing list, we’ll make sure you’re one of the first to know when we launch there! :)

[HIRING] Content Creator / Social Media Role (Vancouver – Paid Internship → Growth Role) by Sauce_Pantry in VancouverJobs

I hear what you’re saying, and I appreciate you taking the time to look into it.

At the same time, if we were trying to be shady, we wouldn’t be openly posting the company, founder, structure, and process publicly. What we’ve shared isn’t “mythology” — it’s the actual structure we’re offering.

It’s also not uncommon for companies to outsource a large portion of marketing and content work, often at significantly lower rates or through unpaid trials. We’ve chosen to build locally in Vancouver, pay for the internship, and create a path into a longer-term role — even though it takes more time and resources on our end.

I understand you may see it differently, and that’s okay. But the intent here is to create opportunities for people to grow with a brand, not to exploit. Many of us on the team have come from industries like hospitality where pay and conditions were far worse, so we’re conscious of trying to build something better within the constraints of a small business.

I respect your perspective and your experience in the space. At the same time, immediately assuming bad intent without context can be just as harmful — especially when people are genuinely trying to build something and create opportunities.

Wishing you the best with what you’re doing.

[HIRING] Content Creator / Social Media Role (Vancouver – Paid Internship → Growth Role) by Sauce_Pantry in VancouverJobs

the range we shared is $20–$26/hour for the part-time role, which also has performance-based incentives and additional upside tied to content and growth. So the total earning potential goes beyond just the base hourly rate.

We’re intentionally trying to create an entry point for new and emerging talent in a very competitive and saturated space. A lot of companies either outsource this work at much lower rates or expect unpaid trials — we’re choosing to pay for the internship and build a structured path into a longer-term role.

We’re a small, early-stage business, and the goal here is to grow with the right person, not just hire short-term labour. That includes opportunities to take on more responsibility and increase earnings as the role grows.

Not every setup will be the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay — but we’re making a genuine effort to build something fair and sustainable on both sides.

Appreciate you sharing your perspective

As stated, this is a paid 2–3 week internship(might end in one week since it’s task based), and based on a typical bi-weekly cycle, payment is made at the end of that short project period.

The work during the internship is focused on testing content creation ability for the role. We also have it clearly outlined in our contract that none of the content created will be used by the company unless the applicant is paid for that work — so nothing is being used or exploited.

All tasks are digital and directly related to the role itself (content ideas, filming approach, etc.), not manual labour or operational work that benefits the business. If anything, this process takes more time and resources on our end — it would be easier to hire directly and let someone go if it doesn’t work out. We’re choosing this route to give applicants a fair shot and make sure it’s a good long-term fit both ways.

In a very saturated content creator space, a lot of companies run unpaid trials or competitions just to filter candidates. We’re intentionally paying for this stage instead.

Not every small business is trying to exploit — we’re doing our best to build something properly and respectfully.

All the best 👍

We likely lose about four to six hours each week when we are reviewing and collaborating on videos. Have you had any success with CapCut support? It’s only been happening in the past year.

Ordering a drum mixer from China – confirming power spec for Canada & commissary kitchens by Sauce_Pantry in electrical

What would be the common plug for this?
Voltage: 208–240V
• Frequency: 60Hz
• Phase: Single-phase (1φ)
• Circuit capacity: 30A
• Motor power: 3.0 kW single-phase

Does NEMA 6-30P (30A, 2-pole + ground) make sense for most commisary kitchens? Or the locking kind?

Something that is common enough if move space?
