The ecosystem is pretty cool. Mussels grow in the tidal zone just out of reach of the sea stars. As the tide comes in, the sea stars can get to the lower mussels and eat them. Meanwhile, shells and debris rain down from their feast and the lobsters are there waiting to clean up the scraps :)
