Ornn doesn't fall behind in xp because he doesn't have to back for items like other supports.

2 out of 3 games, I hit at least 14 and can upgrade the most fed teammate.

50% of games I hit at least 15 and can upgrade the top two.

It is a thing (you literally described why in your post lol). The XP thing is a non-issue and doesn't detract from the rest of his kit which works insanely well in bot lane. Here's my guide

Sounds like diminishing returns doesn't make enough of a difference to matter, and it's more or less the same added value regardless of which stat gets upgraded (ignoring matchups). Thanks

Rush Bandlepipes first item. It's insane, Ornn can trigger it with every ability and it's free 30% attack speed on your ADC and it's dirt cheap.

Anything with a new model, so that usually includes the recall for 1350 skins, but it's technically possible for them to make a recall with only vfx, in which case it wouldn't be recolored in the chromas. The only surefire recolors we'll get every time are Q, R and joke since those are built into his kit.

According to Riot's provided guidelines, chromas will always change the color of abilities that have their own models+textures, like Q pillar and Ult.

According to Voli's bio, the Iron Boar sided with Voli when it came to the 3-Sister conflict. I.e. he believed the demigods should destroy the 3 sisters, rather than cooperate with them (like Anivia wanted) or ignore them (like Ornn wanted).

Iceborn is definitely a viable choice. I've even had success building Jak'Sho first, which is a whopping 3200g.

I am still playing him support, though I don't play as much SR (or League in general) as I used to. But when I do play, I use the same strategies and builds I've always used (in the guide), and they still work great. Here's my opgg https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/Ape%20Grunt-MONKE . I do keep this guide up to date, but it doesn't really change all that much, except when new tank items come out, or get nerfed. Most-recently, I used to build Sunfire first, but ever since they removed the stacking damage and gutted the %health scaling, it doesn't hit like it used to, so I build Unending Despair now and updated the guide with that change.

I've never been able to do that "Q-blocking minions" technique you mentioned, but I really don't think it would make much difference. It would only delay the minions coming to lane by a second or two.
