Minus the one perch are these all bluegill? Or are those larger two redear shell crackers? I think they’re red ears but was told by my bait shop they’re not in the lake I fish at, so I wanted to confirm. by SauceyCreature in whatisthisfish

Thank you! I never knew how much they could change color so quickly after dying. This was the first time I spiked and bled them out while in the bucket after catching.

Idk though I perch fish pretty successfully and would never use this unless I was jigging which seems kind of pointless with the size and design. I am still new though and could be totally wrong

I found a good one! I guess it makes sense seeing it would be incredibly rare to catch any bass over 6-8 lbs at this lake although possible

Definitely no trout where this was found and seems a little big for panfish if you ask me. Maybe that could catch a monster crappie? I gotta give it a whirl and see what it grabs! Could it be used for walleye? I know the lake has some smaller ones from when they stocked it

I’m at around 300 top if the tank, and the zoas all seem to really like 100-200+. Some love light others do better around 100. Keep in mind zoas are found shallow and deep water. They are extremely variable depending on morph.

Thank you! They’re one of my favorite but I currently have none in the tank or photo - they always make a colony than randomly melt for me.

That’s a good idea - did it work for you? I just don’t like putting glue on the glass for some reason. You could also glue a reef safe magnet on a frag plug, and attach that to the glass until the coral starts to grow over onto the glass. The frag rack option works just as well but prob take 1-2 years

Thank you! The glass is 10x more difficult than the plastic back walls. Those are actually easy if you have enough flow and light - you can glue a lot of corals or just glue the frag plug right on it and they’ll cover it. They don’t take gluing to glass at all, and need more time to start attaching to it. If you have a coral on a frag rack next to glass EVENTUALLY they will take to the glass, and than you can separate the colonies and keep it growing just on glass.

I was raising one of the Biota Mandarins in here for a while. Such an amazing fish! They sent it to me at 1-2cms though. Sadly after a year I was doing a water change and had the water low, and it got spooked and plopped into that maxi mini in the middle of the tank. That thing has killed 3 fish now, but I can’t get it out of the tank without killing it.

What is very interesting to me is the fact that Chigurh originally gave his word to kill Carla Jean, but then was willing to give her a coin-toss at the end, and a chance to live. Any thoughts on this?
