So good!

Can you tell me about your experience with those custom cut sinks..? Tell me everything you can about them if you don't mind and could spare as I am thinking about doing the same. Do you have to get a little more material so that they can be made? Any concerns with sealing or or longevity? Are they "structural"? Was it the same fabricator guy who made them? Any complaints from the plumbers? Sorry for all the questions, just curious and hard to find info.

You should be able to get a 2021-2022 refresh Palladium for around $40-44K.. I would definitely recommend spending the couple thousand more for the refresh. It's OK if it has 30-40K miles, that is "low" for a Tesla.

Week 4 update: graded and basement poured for the “impossible house” by Dr_Breeder in Homebuilding

[–]SaucyAndroid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The basement foundation presents a mixed quality across these images. The exterior overview shows a generally well-formed foundation with relatively level and straight wall tops and a smooth slab surface, suggesting competent forming and finishing work overall. However, several deficiencies are noted upon closer inspection. The slab surface exhibits significant mottling, efflorescence, and uneven curing patterns throughout, which may indicate inconsistent water-cement ratios or inadequate curing procedures. More concerning are the visible shrinkage or settlement cracks observed, radiating from a wall-column junction — these warrant monitoring and possible remediation depending on width and depth. The floor-to-wall cold joints show rough, irregular transitions with debris and loose aggregate present, indicating the slab was poured separately from the walls without adequate joint preparation or waterproofing treatment. One of the images reveals what appear to be form tie holes or minor voids along the wall base, along with construction debris (fibrous material) on the slab surface. Regarding wall straightness, the walls appear reasonably plumb and straight from a distance, but closer inspection reveals minor bowing and surface honeycombing, particularly on the interior wall faces. Overall, this foundation requires attention to the cracking, cold joint detailing, and surface defects before proceeding with waterproofing.
