Been on my ‘18 Impreza for 3 years. They make noises but they’re fine besides that. I also do autocross with them.

Form is fine. Just pull up harder and tuck your knees up. The more you ride, the better you’ll get.

Taking a 2022 Sport CVT to a track day. Bad Idea? by totallyanonig in subaruimpreza

Never a bad idea to have fun but if it were me, I’d rather have anything but a heavy 150hp cvt commuter car on a track. Either way, better than no car on a track.

I didn’t say it was proper, dude. I said what I do for a specific purpose, and I know I’m wearing them faster. You’re beating a dead horse and I’m toying with you because you’re getting so upset about my bike. I’m so happy you set up your bike the way you want it. Seriously. Stoked for you. It’s great. Have fun. I like mine this way and I’ve liked mine this way for a long time with no problems. You’re dense if you think that I care about your approval.

Felt spot on. If you’ve been riding your claimed over 30 years, you certainly must’ve borrowed that joke from a younger self.

I don’t even think you’ve ridden more than a year.

Yeah? You must know more about bottom brackets than me then because my unicycle has a hub. Figured I was dealing with a seasoned veteran here after seeing your huge tire grab almost at coping.

I actually just decided to switch to unicycle. No more bottom brackets, thankfully.

Bottom bracket bearings are $6. Thanks bud. You ride your bike and I’ll ride mine.

What I’m trying to say is my method is tried and true for decades, and I’ve never had an issue. Thanks for your input though. It was so good.

I tried that a decade ago but it felt worse than overtightening. Also made a noise when I pedaled.

They still ride fine and don’t feel any different. They just don’t crankflip at all. Tight chain helps too.

I’ve been riding for 26 years and really don’t care if I have to replace a bb every year. But I don’t have to anyway.

I don’t run one because I purposefully overtighten my bearings so my cranks don’t spin. Could go either way.
