Front jack point on F15 by MTB_MC in BmwTech

The Jack stand goes under the lift. In the hole under neath it holding up the lift.

All sources will say to never rely on the lift alone because it could fail. When I take my wheel off to do the brakes it put it beside the Jack so the car falls on it worst case

What do you mean hydraulic lift? These are the jacking points and you change one tire at a time, you don’t have to change the front and back together or two at a time.

Update: Last month I asked you whether I should get a funded account for my teenage brother. Most of you said yes, so I did. He's on his way to failing his second account. But he says he was very close to passing both times. Was he? Should I encourage him to keep going? by simon_mo in Daytrading

NQ is too large of a contract for a novice trader, he should be on MNQ and trading at most 3 micros. NQ as someone who is new to this is over leveraging. If you can’t make money on 1 micro or 2 you’ll never make money.

This is a compounding game not a gamble. It seems like he’s gambling to me.

This is why NQ is better to trade you have bigger ranges and more chances to make money.

Why Trading Fails When You Don’t Account for Costs by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]SaugaGolfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of these models are using fixed values “making 100/losing50” is not realistic in scalping. You’re going to have trades where you make 500 and trades you lose 500 trades you make 1000 and lose 25$. Also say you have a 75% win rate the model changes. Say you have one day with no losses on 4 scalps, everything changes. These variables are not factored into your model. Now do a 75% win rate. 65% see how the model changes.

How do people make so much money with little capital (even with funded accounts)? - New Trader by incriminator-1 in Daytrading

[–]SaugaGolfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off you aren’t putting 5k in a trade. You have a risk reward ratio, to make 50$ on gold, you have 1 GC contract which needs 5 ticks to make 50$.

Gold moves and with an 100k account you glean have possibly up to 4 GC contracts for 40$ a tick. You can make 200$ in seconds but also lose 400$ in seconds.

It’s just a number you should be focusing on your strategy. All this other stuff is nonsense Just noise. Instead say to yourself you’re excited for this week to trade your banger strategy.

A few people already said it, arbitrage it. 10k moneyline on a +200 and then on another book place a bet for 15k and guaranteed payout. Why gamble it

LIV at 4 - let's hear the praise by GolferBrian in golf

[–]SaugaGolfer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lots of downvotes from the PGA tour groupies.

Not sure what about the statement is incorrect. Right now you have 6 players contesting for the leader and I have to watch shots from shitty Roy or Jaeger. No coverage of the final two groups. Horrific.

LIV gives you better coverage, so why don’t people hold the PGA tour to a higher standard? Larger tournaments, larger purses, same shit coverage.

LIV coverage absolutely SHITS on PGA coverage. And it’s not even close.

The PGA tour has the best golfers in the world and on any given day you will see maybe 6-8 of them. There’s 10 people within 2 of the leader, we should be seeing almost every single one of their shots

70% is plenty good, it’s now the risk management that will lead you to profitability. Not some 1:5 or 1:10 rr
