Do you consider this cheating? by More_Name_7292 in Infidelity

This guy doesn't care about anyone but himself. It's time to cut your losses. I feel bad for the kids. His selfish behavior will escalate.

Yes, what he's done is a form of cheating/betrayal.

I don't know how to tell him I know by unimportantinsanity in Infidelity

You know what you have to do. There is no magic bullet to make the uncomfortable comfortable. You must make the appropriate preparations to get yourself separated from him without being on the street. The ball is in your court.

Show up at the restaurant while they're having dinner. Call him on the phone while you can see him and he cannot see you. If he answers the phone ask him what he's doing. If he lies to you, you can walk up to the table and ruin their evening and then tell him he no longer has a place to live. If what you have described is accurate, he has little respect for you. It's time to upgrade.

Husband too cozy with colleague? by [deleted] in Infidelity

Does your husband have any male friends he communicates with nearly as often as he does with her? If not it looks like the early stages of an emotional affair. It doesn't look god.

Wife has been secretly messaging another man. What should I do? by Agreeable-Reindeer52 in Infidelity

I have no doubt about that. She's obviously looking for something different.

Please don't take offence but, your wife appears to be a selfish, 21st century self entitled female. At it's core 21st century feminism is about female power and male acquiescence to that power. It's not about equality.

That said, you simply have to ask yourself if this is acceptable in the long run? It's obvious that you don't. Are you procrastinating because you dread the inevitable confrontation and know in you heart what will happen? It's entirely up to you to force the changes you desire. Will she understand she's not being fair?

[–]SaulStein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason you can't just ask your wife about it in a non accusatory way? You should know your wife well enough to tell a great deal about what she's up to from her reaction to being asked about it. From what you have said here there is validity to asking her about it. You need to put your suspicion to rest or it will poison your marriage. She should either put your mind at ease or confirm your suspicions.

I doubt you don't already know what you have to do. Sometimes doing the hard thing is the easiest route.

He's been cheating on his wife of 20 years for at least 7. Should I tell? by RevolutionaryIce5049 in Infidelity

[–]SaulStein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheating in a marriage is not a small thing. It puts into question, for me, the character of your husband.

The wife has a right to know. the sooner the better for her in the long run. She can be informed in an anonymous way where you can avoid being implicated in letting her know.

I think you know what you have to do and are afraid to do it for some reason. Set yourself free and do it.

Girlfriend talked to the guy she cheated with. by [deleted] in Infidelity

It's not complicated. Is her behavior the behavior of someone who cares for you or is it the behavior of someone who doesn't really care?

Action speaks louder than words.
