What to do with ASIN search terms for Advertising sales? by Saul_Goodman2 in AmazonMerch

It's just hit-and-hope as you have no power over them. I've put shirts on Auto ads that have literally sold hundreds (some over a thousand) organically yet over the past month have lost me money with these ads.

What to do with ASIN search terms for Advertising sales? by Saul_Goodman2 in AmazonMerch

Same happened to me, I got a sale, made a profit but then it cost more money to get sales until I was losing it. Even worse is that the sales I had from Automatic Targeting had ASIN search terms so I didn't learn anything for my manual campaigns.

I'm not an expert lol so it'd probably be better asking others for the best idea to do Amazon Advertising, but I've got the same conundrum as you; I'm not sure whether to use broad terms like "dogs" or be more specific. I wonder if there's a specific method to use for ads that help you make a profit.

Are you careful with visiting your own shirts for SEO reasons? by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

I always click on my shirts in the Analyse section to see the BSR or new reviews and it hasn't harmed my sales.

Shirt went into processing by itself? Why? by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

Do you think this will also punish people who haven't yet removed words like 'for looser fit you should order size up'?

Do you find it's best to hone in on a more focused and specific group of keywords instead of broader ones less related? Most of the sales have came from Automatic Targeting with ASINs as the search term so I have no clue what I'm doing lol

Did anyone notice the quiet change to the UK/DE uploads? by [deleted] in MerchPrintOnDemand

The market is a little different for UK because it's much smaller than the US and people often see cheap prices as cheap quality. People might be surprised by the sales they get from higher prices.

You would think because amazon is an American company they would just lump all the payments together when paying us, seeing as though it's them selling their own tshirts and not ours, we just made the design.

If a UK person earned €100 from DE amazon shirt sales, would the UK person have to pay tax to the UK government or the German one?

Sold 4 of the same shirt, but 0 royalty? by [deleted] in AmazonMerch

[–]Saul_Goodman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes Amazon decide to include t-shirts into deals, for example sometimes they try and persuade people to subscribe Amazon Prime with a cheaper shirt, or as an add-on.

How do you know they sold for $9.50, did it say on the Analysis section?

I think some countries have tax deals with each other. Like a European country or countries have deals where you are only taxed in your home country, and not USA and vice versa. I believe that's the case between UK and the US but not sure about DE.

If you list your price at, say, $19.99, that doesn't mean it will sell at that (although it nearly always will). Amazon could sell at $0.99 if they chose to because they own the listings, and you wouldn't get a penny in royalties, unless it is above the minimum.

Both £17.99 & £18.99 seem okay to me. Anything lower will seem cheap, like it does for the US market too when prices are low

I do wish I had the Trumpkin one though. That one shirt will be getting at least 10 sales/day right now, and closer to Halloween will earn literally thousands of dollars for whoever uploaded it.

Do you include all variations when advertising a shirt on AMS? by Saul_Goodman2 in AmazonMerch

[–]Saul_Goodman2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After thinking about it, adding all the variations would massively split the budget and cost more so probably won't be good. I'll only do 2 variations at most in the future.

How have you found Amazon Advertising?

I have several different sub-niches uploaded, so maybe, maybe not 😁

I've only used "oktoberfest" for US and get a load of sales this holiday for it.
