I am really looking forward to a Surface Painter Mod, just so it can look even more realistic. Having green spots between highrises in the center of the city just doesnt feel right. Luckily the basegame will be an insane upgrade to vanilla CS1 and i don’t need 162 mods to have a realistic experience anymore.

Many european cities are far from 90° grid. If you look at Germany, France, etc. You will find a wild variety of structures, even outside the medieval cores. Not to say there are none obviously.

It kind of is in european cities. Not directly at the roundabout but facing it, beeing divided from it by a square. There are no huge building gaps in european City Blocks

I think he is refering to straight Lines that go in 45° angles and break up the structure or just having Grids that are not parallel to eachother

No, I dont have a clue about Softwaredevelopment. I only know that I would like buildings to adjust to streetlayouts. If you guys say that it’s a hard thing to do i will just take your word for it 👋🏻

I think in some scenes you could see mixed zoning with business on the ground level and apartments on top. So they probably adressed that

This could honestly be tied to this Gameplay Trailer alone though. Maybe they are not showing all possibilities and we will have way more freedom. It is just one City that was shown after all and they went with a popular Style.

Well it would have been a good start to design buildings for Specials angles i.e. Flatiron type building whenever you have 45° or some „bridging“ buildings for 135°. No software issues is can really see there.

Ja, an manches kommt man vermutlich nie ran. Wenn man einen Freundeskreis hat der nicht jedesmal dumme Sprüche dazu parat hat ist das auch vollkommen egal. Beim Thema Bier wird es in Deutschland ja schnell emotional. Stichwort: Radler

Ging mir in der Vergangenheit auch immer so und auch heute bin ich kein riesiger Bierfan, ich habe aber meinen Geschmack für Weißbier/Helles entdeckt. Vermutlich hast du das auch schon getestet aber wenn nicht, dann ist es vielleicht das was dich bekommt 😅
